NewPage honored for military support

MIAMI TWP., Montgomery County — NewPage Corp. has received three awards in recognition of its support for employees who are serving in the military, the company said recently.
The papermaker received the awards at a Ohio Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve recognition dinner held March 15 in Dublin, Ohio. Company policies that were recognized included providing gap pay for the difference between an employee's military salary and the pay of a civilian job, extending benefits coverage, educating managers on their responsibility and more.
