Dayton Executive Hotel shuttered

HARRISON TWP., Montgomery County — The Dayton Executive Hotel, a 253-room hotel on Needmore Road, has closed, WHIO-TV reported Tuesday, April 29.
The hotel, located at the Needmore Road exit of Interstate 75, had been slated to go up for auction on April 17.

Phone calls to the hotel went unanswered on Tuesday.
According to Montgomery County records, Dayton Lodge Ltd., based in Southfield, Mich., bought the hotel in 1997 for $1.7 million. The hotel includes about 59,000 square feet of space and has an assessed value of $3.3 million.
The hotel is delinquent more than $450,000 in taxes and assessments, according to county auditor records.
