Locally owned chain opens eighth restaurant

By Mark Fisher

Tuesday, August 19, 2008

BEAVERCREEK — El Toro Bar and Grill, a locally owned chain of Mexican restaurants, has opened its eighth restaurant at 1375 N. Fairfield Road — the site of the former B.R. Scotese's.

The restaurant chain operates two restaurants in Springfield and one each in Huber Heights, Bellbrook, Vandalia and Dayton, as well as a second location in Beavercreek.

The restaurant's owners could not be reached Monday or this morning, Aug. 19. In March 2008, co-owner Sergio Munoz told the Dayton Daily News that he and his family decided to open the second restaurant in Beavercreek because there are numerous customers from the area who dine at their Bellbrook restaurant and at its other Beavercreek location on Indian Ripple Road across from The Greene.
