World Bank exec to speak in Dayton

DAYTON — A top executive for the World Bank will discuss how troubles in the financial markets are impacting developing countries on Sept. 23.
Vincenzo La Via, chief financial officer for the World Bank, will speak at 11:30 a.m. at the Engineers Club, 110 E. Monument Ave.
The talk is being presented by the Dayton Council on World Affairs. Sponsors include: UBS, Smith Barney, the University of Dayton college of business and Wright State University's Raj Soin College of Business and Center for Global Business.
Admission: $25 for DCOWA members and $35 for non-members.
