The Ohio Controlling Board has approved a $1 million loan to Plating Technology Inc.
The company will use the money to buy new machinery and equipment, the board said.
As a result, the state expects 12 new full-time jobs to be created and 39 existing jobs to be retained, House Speaker Jon Husted said in a statement.
"The retention and creation of quality, high-paying jobs in our communities is the foundation of our region's economy," Husted said.
Plating Technology specializes in plating metal finishes for the automotive industry. The new equipment will allow the company to expand its capabilities in alloy metal finishing, Ohio government said. Currently, local customers send their products out of the state for finishing work.
Recently, Dayton government gave Plating Technology a $100,000 grant from the city development fund for the company's expansion.
