TROY — Tekni-Plex Inc. has told Ohio government that it will close the Dolco Packaging plant in Troy in December.

Layoffs of 101 employees at the 1261 Bruckner Drive plant are expected to be permanent, Joseph Bruno, Tekni-Plex vice president, human resources, wrote in a Oct. 9 letter to the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services.

The layoffs will happen between Dec. 8 and Dec. 22, he wrote.

"The entire facility will be closed," Bruno wrote.
