EMTEC sponsoring green energy conference

COLUMBUS — The Edison Materials Technology Center is organizing a conference to inform Ohio companies about opportunities in the renewable energy field.

The Ohio Advanced and Green Energy Markets Summit is scheduled as an all-day seminar Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the Columbus North Crowne Plaza Hotel in Columbus.

Keynote speakers include Doug Henton, chief executive officer of Collaborative Economics Inc., a California-based economic development consultant, and two top aides to Gov. Ted Strickland, Mark Barbash, the state's chief economic development officer, and Mark Shanahan, the governor's energy adviser.
