Global work force issues seminar is Nov. 17

KETTERING — A seminar on tax, visa and other legal compliance issues is scheduled Monday, Nov. 17, for companies with employees in foreign countries.

The Edison Materials Technology Center and the U.S. Commercial Service, part of the U.S. Department of Commerce, are sponsoring the event, which will focus on issues involved with employing a global work force. It is scheduled from 9:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at EMTEC, 3155 Research Blvd. in Miami Valley Research Park.

Joseph Dehner, a lawyer with the Cincinnati law firm Frost Brown Todd LLC, and Cornelius Small, a specialist in international tax and trade matters, will lead the presentation.
