A wholly-owned subsidiary of Alien Technology Corp. was awarded a $5.64 million contract to replace baggage conveyors at the Tulsa, Okla. International Airport, the company said recently.

Quatrotec Inc., the Alien subsidiary, will replace the inbound conveyor system, which carries passenger baggage from aircraft to baggage claims areas, the company said earlier this month. The project involves replacing six inbound baggage conveyors.

Morgan Hill, Calif.-based Alien focuses on Radio Frequency Identification technology and products and has a solutions center in Springboro. Based in San Francisco, Quatrotec is a technology and services firm serving airports, seaports and rail facilities.
