Police said Zaragoza went to the home of a former girlfriend around 5 p.m. and forced her from the residence into his car.
He drove with her out of Tipp City toward Medway before going back into Tipp City. He allegedly held her for a short time at the Speedway at Garber Drive and Main Street before he left and she fled with a friend.
About two hours later, Zaragoza was stopped by police while returning to her residence. Police said he did not comply with orders and charged at a police officer, who subdued him with the stun gun.
Zaragoza also is accused of assaulting an emergency medical technician while being taken by ambulance to Upper Valley Medical Center. Zaragoza was treated at the hospital, then taken to the county jail. The EMT did not require treatment, police said.
The woman, who police said is in her early 20s, was taken by a family member to Upper Valley for treatment.
