Pianist Hong to play in Greenville
Dynamic pianist Alpin Hong will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, at St. Clair Memorial Hall, 215 W. Fourth St., in Greenville.
Presented by the Darke County Center for the Arts, the concert will include music by Rachmaninoff, Mozart, Beethoven and Chopin.
Born in Michigan, Hong made his debut at age 10 with the Kalamazoo Symphony and began making headlines with his win at the 1989 Stravinsky Piano Competition. He recorded his first album in 2005.
