It was a tough choice between Elsa’s and the “Bad Juan” and Carmel’s Bobarita! Especially if you like strong margaritas! I am so glad that Adobe Gillas is not on here as they have the WORST margaritas in the area!

I don’t regularly take the time to write reviews but, in this case, I had to make an exception. The food at Pepito’s is great - on par with an authentic Mexican restaurant in San Antonio. A good friend of mine, former native of the Dayton area, recommended this quaint little spot to me. The Margaritas mmmm lives up to its reputation as the best Margaritas….(on the rocks)anywhere…period. You have to try them out

Really? Pepito’s margaritas aren’t even on the same playing filed as Elsa’s Bad Juans! Not even close, and the atmosphere is so great to sit on the Patio at the one in Kettering!!!

It is hands down—no question about it—-that the different versions of The Bad Juan are the best in Dayton—in fact—I travel to the Cabos San Lucas, Mexico area every year—I have done so for nearly 20 years now and I find that the Bad Juan stands up and beats most of the margheritas that are served in most places down there—at least the places the meals are less than a hundred dollars US per person!!!

Elsa’s definitely have great Margaritas! I went to Pepitos once and the food and drinks were disgusting. El Toro in Springfield on S Limestone have Great Margaritas and very courteous and friendly wait staff!

If you want to be flat on your a*s, then go with Elsa’s Margaritas. If you want a great tasting , and yet still strong margarita, El Toro is the place to go. Great service, great food, great staff. Fast, clean, and affordable.

This place is TOPS! Prices are unbeatable! The food is better than you can find in LOTS more expensive Mexican restaurants. The Super Burrito and Burrito California are great. Try the Fajitas deluxe come with chorizo, sauteed onions and is unbelievably tasty. In fact, I have never had anything less that wonderful here. I can only say that sometimes the tv’s (on different stations), and the Latin Music going all at the same time can be a bit much, but for me, this is a great place! I had my first Golden Margarita in Pepitos at Kettering and I was hooked on the American favorite,

Elsa’s has a great margarita not to mention the bad juans. Pretty good food also for the Dayton area, but no restaurants in the northern area which is a shame. For the Miami Valley north area its sad that El Sombrero on 25A, just north of the fairgrounds in Troy didn’t make the list to be voted on - it has the best margarita on the rocks in Miami and Darke counties. Great salsa/chips, food and service!
