The best books of 2010
The leaves are falling. The calendar pages are turning. It is mid-October and I’m starting to narrow down my picks for my favorite books of 2010. I have a couple of stacks here. Fiction. And non-fiction.
I have one definite pick so far. It’s fiction. And fabulous satire. Gary Shteyngart’s “Super Sad True Love Story” (Random House) is an absolute knockout.
This is Gary’s third novel and I think it is his best yet. I have interviewed him for all three of his books. His books are hilarious. And he’s quite funny in person. To listen to our WYSO radio conversation about “Super Sad True Love Story” you can download the audiofile by clicking HERE:

The number is just in case you’re using the urban dictionary to decipher any hidden meaning for ‘cocoa’ and is not indicative of your personal hotness scale number, just to be clear. My apologies if you misunderstood .

It was a good interview. I haven’t read the book yet, but probably will. Your voice is pleasant to listen to and reminds me of long life and hot cocoa (#1). Thank you for the link.
