Dayton Band Playoffs round 3
Round two of the Dayton Band Playoffs will wrap up next week at Canal Street Tavern, and excitement is growing for round three.
In rounds two and three bands compete head-to-head in a single elimination tournament. Fans determine through paper ballot voting which band will continue in the Playoffs. Visit www.canalstreettavern.com to see the entire bracket.
The top overall vote getting band from round one, Good English, has already reached round three. They defeated Kate Campbell last week and will take on Fuzz Hound on August 13th at Canal Street. This show will be the first of the third round.
Only four bands will make to the semi-final round (round 4) beginning August 27th.
Top bands are in action this week and next. Here is a list with a ranking of where they finished after the first round:
