When children are abused in foster care
It appears to have happened again.
Since 2006, when 3-year-old Marcus Fiesel died at the hands his Butler County Children Services foster parents, the issue of children being abused in foster care has been a contentious one.
On Tuesday, a local 16-year-old who ran away after he was allegedly abused in a foster home in Warren County, was returned to the agency’s care safe — but not unharmed. Click here for the child’s story.
It was just in May that the agency launched an ongoing investigation into another allegation of abuse in Trenton.
Agency Director Michael Fox said children being abused in foster care is shockingly common. An e-mail to this effect he sent to the paper incensed foster parents, who say Fox doesn’t support foster homes enough.
Said Fox Tuesday: “As we’ve said, even when the system works and we do everything right, bad people do bad things to children. That is unfortunately the case here.”

y do ya’ll do us foster care kids like ya’ll do wen ya’ll know that it is very very very wrong & in & half of ya’ll is in it for the money i should know i used to be in fosted care & i was abused in almost all of them

My friend had her kids taken away for all the wrong reasons. They said it was temporary. Kids love Mom. Mom loves her kids. Now kids are with a caregiver who does not care, Mkaes them sit in room all day when they cry and tell her they want to go home with Mom. Red ants are biting the kids. Roaches infest the house. Caseworkers do not care. They are treating the mother as a secondary person rather than the Mother of the children. Kids are developing seperation anxiety disorder. They are living in filth. Some one we need help. Is there anyone we can call?

Hi jeena my 17 month old boy is in care been there 7 months now. does your friend have a solcitor if so, they should be really kicking off about it. I had awful problems with my sons carer for different reasons seems social services only care about the carers feelings. Dont know if your friend is going through proceddings? she needs to get a note book write anything down times dates of anything concerning. I hope it comes to end for your friend i so know the pain iam too sidelined not informed of anything, appointments etc.If your friend does not have a solicitor and is about to get one make sure they are chid accredited. All the best i just hope these people stop abusing childrens rights. x x

i was in foster care from the time that i was 11 to the time i was 18 and in all the foster homes that i have been in i was abused and its not a good thing cuz i thought that it was going to help me out in so many ways and insted i was hurt more. after i was attached to this one family they kicked me out on the streets and they still to this day harass me every day still and i dont think its right. but i have learned from my experiance and i try to help others that are in foster care and some day i would like to be a foster parent and i will so the kids that i do care about them and i will love them and give them a new home that they will feel welcome at. now i am a good person i am getting married in the summer and i have a baby on the way so i came out to be a good person and so can you!

what if a 26 year old is dating a 17th 1/2 year old gal but isn’t having affair with her or even just friends nothing more what that considered rape or sexual predator if they aren’t even having sex or any love contact?
