Changes in Boehner’s office

Here’s a press release about changes in Speaker of the House John Boehner’s Congressional District office in Washington, D.C.

There are quite a few local residents on Boehner’s staff.

Thoughts?

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Speaker John Boehner, R-West Chester Twp., today, Feb. 28 announced the following staff additions in his congressional office.

  • Brittany Bramell will serve as Communications Director. Bramell previously served as Deputy Communications Director for Chris Dudley for Governor in Oregon. Prior to that, Bramell served as Press Secretary for Chris Christie for Governor in New Jersey.

  • Kristin Daujotaite will serve as Staff Assistant in Boehner’s congressional office in Washington, D.C. Daujotaite, a native of Liberty Twp., takes over for Chris Berry, who has returned to Ohio to serve as Deputy Press Secretary for State Treasurer Josh Mandel.

  • Heather Reed will serve as Legislative Correspondent. Reed comes to Washington having previously worked for Friends of John Boehner in West Chester Twp. She takes over for Brad Gentile who has been named Legislative Director for Congressman Chris Gibson, New York. Reed, a Miami University graduate, is a native of Fairfield.

  • Brody Nein will serve as Staff Assistant in Boehner’s Troy District Office. Nein previously served as Grassroots Coordinator for Boehner’s re-elect campaign. Nein, a Wright State University graduate, hails from Middletown.

  • Parker Novak will serve as Staff Assistant in Boehner’s congressional office in Washington, D.C. Novak is a December graduate of The Ohio State University and a native of West Chester Twp.

“I want to thank Chris and Brad for all of their hard work on behalf of the people of Ohio’s Eighth Congressional District. I wish them all the best of luck in their future endeavors,” Boehner said. ”Brittany, Kristin, Brody, Heather and Parker are skilled aides who will strive to provide excellent constituent service. I am pleased to welcome them to our team.”

Brody Nein-son of Scott Nein-nice to see that the old political machine is alive and well in Butler County where favors are done between political buddies like Nein (former state senator and now some VP in the insurance industry in Columbus after setting legislation in place to favor the insurance industry while guaranteeing himself a position after his term limits ran out) and Boehner. The good old boy/political neopotism click is out in force on this one. Too bad only some people from influential families get the call from Boehner. Apparently, regular middle class families are excluded from consideration. Thanks John!
