Combs proposes illegal immigration resolution
State Rep. Courtney Combs, R-Hamilton, introduced House Concurrent Resolution 11 which would give Ohio’s support for the state of Arizona “in its legal battle regarding the state’s ability to control illegal immigration.”
According to a press release from Combs’ office, “Because of the failure of the federal government to secure Arizona’s southern border, the state of Arizona is striving to control through legislation the influx of illegal immigrants crossing its border.”
Combs’ office states the legislation came up because illegal drugs and related crimes grew in Arizona and left the police force with little to no resources to combat the “quickly growing number of undocumented individuals.”
“Ohioans are fed up with the lack of effort by the federal government in dealing with the growing concerns of illegal immigration,” said Combs. “Illegal immigration is a real problem that deserves immediate attention and steadfast resolve. It is a strain on our health care system, on our education system, and on our public safety system.”
If HCR 11 would pass, Ohio joins Arizona and 15 other states to force the federal government to address illegal immigration, according to Combs. HCR 11 has been assigned to the House State Government and Elections Committee for debate and deliberation.

High unemployment, high taxes, over regulation and what is Corky concerned with? Keeping Rick Jones happy.

Cortney, Thank you for having the intestinal fortitude to say and do what so many are thinking and want done. It shows that you are not worried about your votes, but what needs to be done to stop this very serious problem.

Wish we in Warren County had someone that would stand up with Combs and clean out all these Illegals. We could round them up and put them in tents over at WCCI and they could eat up all those ground hogs till the Feds trucked them back to their country of origin.

Who of you readres would be here if not for immigration? Check you past were your ancestors here with papers? As long as they pay taxes and are not free loaders why do you want them to leave? Will the “U.S. Citizens” do the work they do?

Jim your missing the point entirely…..go and check out the inmates in the county jails locally…their pictures are posted online ….you might be surprised at those waiting for ICE to pick them up….pay taxes..not free loaders you say…get your head out of your ars…read gj’s comment below yours…as for “Will the US Citizen do the work”?….poor argument Jim….go lay down somewhere…perhaps you would be willing to donate to the cost of feeding and housing these “Good Citizen Wannabes” till ICE deports them and they start the cycle all over again. These criminals have no intention of blending in to the “melting pot” ….you fool!!

I believe the taxes will go down and unemployment will also go down once the freeloading illegals are gone from Ohio and America. Yes, most of our ancestors were immigrants, they were also legal and not a burden on the system.

Absolutely useless legislation which has come to punctuate the work of Courtney Combs. Race baiting legislation which has no bearing on what happens with his constituency. Good ol’ American racism is alive and well in Butler County but don’t let an uneducated, unemployed population be what we need to focus on, when after all we can blame in on some dark skinned folk.
