Joe Jackson wants to raise King of Pop’s kids, family suspects foul play in singer’s death
In an interview set to air Tuesday, July 14,Joe Jackson tells ABC’s Chris Connelly that both he and his estranged wife Katherine are the best people to raise the King of Pop’s three kid.
“There no one else we can do what we can do for them,” Joe Jackson, who has been accused of abusing Michael Jackson and his siblings, said.
The 79-year-old Jackson family patriarch in a video preview posted on abcnews.go.com, tells Connelly that Prince Michael I, 12; Paris Michael Katherine, 11; and Prince “Blanket” Michael II, 7, should remain with the family.
“Keep them all together and make them happy,” Joe Jackson says. “Feed them like they are suppose to be feed, let them get rest, plenty of sleep and let them grow up to be strong Jacksons. “
Katherine Jackson has temporary guardianship of Michael Jackson’s children.
Debbie Rowe, Michael Jackson’s ex-wife and the mother of the two oldest kids, has expressed an interest in taking custody of all three children.
Joe Jackson goes on to tell ABC that he was stunned by his son’s sudden death June 25.
He says he expects foul play.
La Toya Jackson has even stronger feelings about the matter.
She tells the UK’s Daily Mail that her brother was murdered.
She says Michael Jackson’s entourage cut him off from her family.
‘Less than a month ago, I said I thought Michael was going to die before the London shows because he was surrounded by people who didn’t have his best interests at heart,” she tells the newspaper. ‘Michael was worth more than a billion dollars. When anyone is worth that much money, there are always greedy people around them.”

Keep that man away from those children!! Jackson couldn’t stand him. He just wants to make a buck off those kids, he doesn’t care about their well being!!By you're kidding

He wants to raise them so he can abuse them like he did his own kids and they will grow up to be hot messes. I’ve read his quote several times and still can’t understand it, “There no one else we can do what we can do for them.” Assuming it’s accurate, he needs to get hukd on fonix.By Beth

I pray no judge would allow that man to get anywhere near those kids. Visit, sure, with supervision. He abused their father & must bear a lot of responsibility for the mess Michael bacame as an adult.He as no business raising anyone’s kids. Katherine seems a devout & righteous woman…if Michael wanted her to have them, he would know best. I see no harm in allowing them to visit with their biological mother & getting to know her, as well, but it would be too much of an upheaval to them for her to gain custody. I am so tired of hearing about this stuff. I feel sorry for those kids because they had such a whcko for a dad!! His death was due to his abuse of drugs and I think it is a crock of sh*t that they are screaming foul play. Those kids need to be given to a home that will love them and keep them safe and out of the limelight! Period!By lisa

Yep foul play,,,, somebody FORCED MJ to take those drugs. He would never take drugs or abuse his body. Yep…that was his real face, too. So, the kids were around drugs at home; better to get them away from all of that family and find a foster home.By Nell
