Is Jon Gosselin robbing the cradle?

From Laura Houser, Staff Writer

Maybe neither Jon nor Kate deserve our sympathy.

Both have ‘issues’ and both seem to be trying to milk this thing.

Last week, Jon, 32, announced he was teaming up with Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigier to design a children clothing line … and will be using his own children as models.

Putting aside Jon’s questionable fashion tastes, or the clothing’s potential as a platform for revenge (“Mommy is a Heartless Shrew” onesies, anyone?), the move cements Jon’s scummy role in all this mess.

But is he worse than Kate?

I mean, Kate is pretty despised right now.

Christian book publisher Zondervan has put the brakes on her cookbook “Love Is in the Mix: Making Meals into Memories.”

The Los Angeles Time suggests that maybe, just maybe there ‘isn’t quite as ravenous an appetite now for ‘an inside look at one of America’s most close-knit families’.”

Both Jon and Kate have gotten a good share of criticism from the “Jon & Kate Plus Eight” nation.

Some say Jon Gosselin is an adulterer and robbing the cradle with Hailey Glassman, his ‘new’ 22-year-old girlfriend (see poll below).

Others diss Kate for her nasty verbal abuse of Jon.

So, who is exploiting their ill-begotten fame more, and how long do you think the attention will last?

Ms. Glassman is going for her 15 minutes of fame sl let her have it. Jon and Kate asked for what the got when they exposed their lives to the public, the sad part is the children will pay the price.

Why are we still giving attention to these to idiots? They are the most irresponsible people I have ever seen, and why the show is still on is amazing

I love how people say the children are exploited. There really isn’t much difference between the show and what other child actors get involved with. Call it what you want…but there is not difference between the Gosselins and Brooke Shield, Jodi Foster, Lindsey Lohan, Dakota Fanning…

I don’t not watch this show because I don’t find watching a family self destruct for the sake of a t.v. show entertaining. These are real people with real lives who need to grow up and act like adults and raise their children. Instead of exploiting them and trying to milk every buck out if it they can. Their greed got them right where they are and the children have to pay for it. Very sad:(

let it go….who cares anyway…OH!that’s right, Kate does. Being the greedy woman that she is she will “milk” this all the way to the bank. All the while Jon goes on with his life and he is called the “bad guy”.

No difference? How about the fact that these children are NOT actors, and please refresh my memory as to when Brooke Shields’ and Jodi Foster’s families were falling apart on national TV
