Michael Jackson’s mother gets custody of his kids
The battle between Michael Jackson’s family and his ex-wife appears to be over.
Katherine Jackson has been granted custody of his children. Debbie Rowe will get visitation of the older two children, according to an interview aired on the CBS Early Show.
The women have been battling it out for the children since the King of Pop’s sudden death last month. Things have been pretty nasty.
There were even seemingly bogus reports that Rowe had ‘sold’ the children to Katherine Jackson.
Rowe won’t get any money as part of the resolution, CBS says.
“It’s an agreement, an agreement for the best interests of the children. This is not a money deal. This is not about money,L. Londell McMillan, Katherine Jackson’s lawyer, told CBS.
Debbie Rowe bore Prince Michael Joseph Jackson, 12, and Paris Michael Katherine Jackson, 11, for the King of Pop. His 7-year-old “Blanket” Prince Michael Jackson II was conceived by vitro.
Just wonder how much Joe will be in the picture?

I don’t think either one is fit enough to take these kids… They both are after $$..I don’t care what they say… Hope that dad Joe doesn’t beat his “new kids” like he “supposedly” beat their father Michael…what a joke of a family…By Patti

Good, his mother should get the kids if Debbie has been out of their lives for a while, and never did much with them. Besides, the judge did the right thing because its hard to contest a will.By Mickey

The only thing I hope is there is a backup plan if something happens to Micheal’s parents. I think Michael was smart in having his will written with specific details.By Mary

Although Katherine is probable the better of the two to have custody, it certainly won’t hurt anything for the children to know their biological mother. My biggest concern is that hopefully stipulations were made that would keep Joe Jackson from making ANYBy Mary

My concern is that Joe Jackson not be allowed to make ANY decisions concerning the children. All of us know what he wants…money, money, money!By the Strawboss

Joe lives in Vegas. Katherine lives in LA. I doubt he will play a big role. And MJ had nothing but good things to say about his mother. I doubt she is after money. Besides, isn’t it natural for a grandmother to step up if the mother is MIA?By Kim

patti, concerning MJ’s will..it has no bearing in a custody issue when there is a surviving parent. the judge made the decison beased on the best interest of the children. that will is not legally binding with concerns to the custody of the kids.By Rodney

I think it’s sad that the kids are put in this type of situlation. I wish that Debbie Rowe would keep them and raise them, instead of Mrs Jackson. She is too old to raise kids and her husband Joe is just after the money and doesn’t care of any of MJ kids.By Tim
