Paula is leaving American Idol. Should Kara be the one leaving?
“American Idol” just got 50 percent lamer.
Judge Paula Abdul, everyone’s favorite pint-sized pop star, announced last night that she won’t return to “American Idol.”
Abdul broke the news to fans on her verified Twitter page.
With sadness in my heart, I’ve decided not to return to #IDOL
She goes on to say:
I’ll miss nurturing all the new talent,but most of all being a part of a show that I helped from day1become an international phenomenon.

Paula’s announcement comes shortly after news broke that Idol host Ryan Seacrest scored a ‘gillion’ dollar contract and that controversial new judge Kara DioGuardi will be sticking around.

Pope cuts record deal with Geffen Records
Make room Britney, Rihanna and Madonna, The Pope may just go ‘platinum’ in time for Christmas.
Pope Benedict XVI has signed a Geffen Records deal and will release an album by Christmas, according to The United Kingdom’s Telegraph
His Holiness will sing litanies, chant and recite prayers in Portuguese, Latin, French, German and Italian.
The album was recorded in St.Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican, the newspaper reports.
Geffen Records is one of three Universal Music Group companies operated as the Interscope-Geffen-A&M label group.
The Pope’s label mates include 50 Cents, Mary J. Blige, Eminem and Fergie.
