SNL clip mocking Brittany Murphy pulled from the Web
Fat chance you’ll find the SNL clip of comic Abby Elliott’s impersonation of Brittany Murphy.
In the wake of the Murphy’s sudden death Sunday (her family says she was ill for several days) , the-not-so-funny-now clip has been removed from YouTube.com, Hulu and the Saturday Night Live website.
In the clip first aired two weeks ago, Murphy is mocked for being fired from the film “The Caller.”
The New York Daily News jotted down text of the clip before it was yanked.
It went something like this:
Elliott playing Murphy: “I’m really honored to be here hosting ‘Saturday Night Live.’”
Weekend Update host Seth Meyers: “No, Brittany, you’re not hosting.”
Elliott playing Murphy on being fired from the movie: “I got a plan… When the movie comes out, I’m going to go to the theater and say, ‘Booooo.’ And then the audience will join in and say, ‘Boo’ Best plan ever.”
