“Deadiest Catch” fans mourn loss of popular captain

Phil Harris had one of the most dangerous job in the world, but it was a massive stroke that took the fishing boat captain out.

Harris whose work off the Alaska coast were captured on the Discovery Channel’s “Deadliest Catch”, has died, the Associated Press reports.

The 53-year-old suffered a stroke Jan. 29.

The captain’s death was hot topic on the Internet with many sending condolences to Harris’ family and crew.

“I will miss your great sense of dry humor,” one Twitter user wrote.

It’s sad because he seemed like a nice guy. But let’s be real. If you live on a massively unhealthy diet, you’re overweight, you smoke like a chimney, and you ignore your personal health…something like this will happen sooner or later.
