George Lopez: ‘I was not Lenoed’
Comedian George Lopez does not think highly of Jay Leno and how he treated Conan O’Brien.
The star of “Lopez Tonight” today told CBS “The Early Show” host Julie Chen that he was not ‘Lenoed’ as part of the deal the will bring O’Brien to TBS.
When asked what that mean, Lopez said Lenoed is being dinged by someone who pretends to have your best interest at heart, but is really just out for themselves.
Then he said ‘ouch.’
TBS announced Tuesday that Conan’s new show will air Mondays through Thursdays at 11 p.m., shifting Lopez’s show to midnight.
That was at least the second time this week Lopez used the term ‘Lenoed’ to described the scandal that saw O’Brien kicked off the “Tonight Show” in favor of Jay Leno.
“I am not getting Lenoed, I welcome Conan,” Lopez told Larry King earlier this week.
Conan was concern that Lopez was not being bumped the same way he had been, Lopez said, adding that he helped convince Conan to take a deal with TBS.
Lopez also took the opportunity to slam Leno’s audience during this Early Show appearance, saying they were the early bird crowd where as his audience is around 33 years old.

All these other hosts are digging at Jay hoping people will watch them do that and using that to improve their ratings. Just get over it all already! Jay is back he is winning in the ratings- which would point to the fact that people must want him there. Conan has a show….these people have millions of dollars no one lost anything!

A professional writer contributed this story. Please note all the grammar errors. Why is George Lopez even newsworthy? His show is bland to say the least.

Add this to the thousands of stories the DDN and other lamestream media misreported. Conan was given the heave-ho because of an uprising among NBC affiliates. There was practically a riot at the last NBC station convention because Conan had blown a 20 year ratings supremacy at the 11:30 pm time-slot. NBC ate megabucks telling Conan good bye and good riddance. Hard to feel sympathy for a guy who is given millions to just go away…
