Kettering native Brooklyn Decker can add Sports Illustrated cover model to her resume.

Decker who married tennis champ Andy Roddick in April appears on the cover of the magazine’s annual swimsuit issue. She is sort of wearing a little yellow bikini.

Decker’s parents, Tessa and Stephen Decker, met when they were students at Kettering Medical Arts College.

They were married in 1986.

The Deckers lived in West Carrollton and in Madison Twp., outside of Middletown, with Tessa’s parents, Dan and Nancy Moore. They moved to Charlotte, N.C., when Brook was 1.

Decker, 22, was born Brook Daniel Decker at Kettering Medical Center.

Read more about Decker here.

Decker, who has appeared in the swimsuit issue five times, was interviewed on the NBC’s Today Show, today, Tuesday, Feb. 9.

She said winning the award was a major honor in modeling, comparing it to winning the MVP at the Super Bowl.

“I feel like the New Orleans Saints did Sunday night,” she said.

Maybe there was a reason Nelly use to wear a Band-Aid.

The “Hot in Herre” rapper was accidentally punched Friday while trying to break up a fight between his bodyguards and bouncers at an Miami club, the New York Post says.

The 35-year-old was readying to preform at a pre-Super Bowl party when he noticed things heating up between his bodyguards and club security, the newspaper says.

Nelly got in the middle of it and got popped.

Luckily things weren’t more serious. Being at the wrong place at the wrong time is sometimes a very, very, very bad thing.

Pete Townshend, 64, proved as much during the Who’s half-time performance at the Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 7.

Who gave the best Super
Bowl halftime performance in recent years?(surveys)

The band’s show was thrilling to say the least, but maybe someone (anyone) should have told Pete to button those bottom buttons or at least wear a T-shirt.

Do you think Howard Stern would make a good “American Idol” judge?(survey software)

A source reportedly told the newspaper that Idol is the only show on TV that could compete with Sirius XM Radio for a contract with Stern, the highest paid radio personality on the air.

They think he could be even meaner than Cowell.

“They know he would be great TV and would clash with the other judges such as Ellen DeGeneres and the contestants. ‘Idol’ will do what it takes to sign him,” the source reportedly said.

Who won O’Reilly vs. Stewart round 1?(polling)

“They have taken reasonable concerns about this president and this economy and turned it into full-fledged panic attack about the next coming of Chairman Mao,” Stewart said of Fox.

O’Reilly denied being a republic shill and defended his cohorts, calling Glenn Beck an everyman who simply spouts what he believes.

In a teaser for the second part of the interview set to air 8 p.m. tonight on FOX, O’Reilly hints that he will vet Stewart for vice president of the democratic party.

The cause of actress Brittany Murphy’s death has been revealed.

The 32-year-old died of pneumonia complicated by anemia and prescription drugs the LA coroner’s office has ruled, according to the Los Angeles Daily News.

The death has been ruled accidental.

The coroner’s office declined to identify the type of drugs used, the newspaper said. It only indicated they were all prescription drugs.

There was speculation that the star of “Clueless” and “8 Mile” died of prescription drug use.

Her husband and mother told investigators she suffered flu-like symptoms prior to her death.

Her husband partly blamed Warner Brothers for Murphy’s December death and indicated he might sue.

Nope, you can’t believe everything you see on a blog.

Rumors that Miley Cyrus’ plucky 9-year-old sister Noah is launching a kiddy lingerie line are bogus and a little bit more.

Annie Dugourd, co-founder of Ooh, La La! Couture, the company that was said to produce the line, called the rumors of a children’s lingerie line “an absolute lie,” according to CNBC.

Dugourd blamed the whole thing on Perez Hilton and said the her company only plans to make line of tutu dresses for 8-year-old actress Emily Grace Reeves, Noah’s best friend,

“It’s been devastating for our little company. We’re two stay-at-home moms who make tutu dresses. We would never do anything inappropriate,” Dugourd said.

The company’s web site is down for the count at the moment.

Noah Cyrus’ outfits, including a dominatrix Halloween costume, have raised eyebrows.

In a promotional video that has since been disabled, Noah dances around in a leopard print dress and fingerless gloves. Miley, 17, says she “loves” the range of clothes, according to Stuff.co.nz.

Here is a video from Noah and Emily’s YouTube.com channel. Towards the end they sing about how much they like money. It has a good tune.

Kanye West is certainly crazy, but it seems more and more people think maybe he was sort of right at the MTV Video Awards: Taylor Swift might be OK, but she’s not the greatest thing since ice cream.

The Taylor Hater Nation is very large and - according to posts on blogs and Facebook groups like “I hate Taylor Swift,” - they are so over Taylor.

(AP Photo/Matt Sayles)

Did Taylor Swift deserve album of the year Grammy?(survey software)

A MTV.com opinion piece, “Why You Shouldn’t Hate On Taylor Swift,” tried to justify Swift’s award winning ways, but readers weren’t having it.

“This article is exactly what annoys me the most about Taylor Swift, she is portrayed as a victim we are supposed to feel sorry for. Her boyfriend broke up with her - poor Taylor. Kanye interrupted her - poor Taylor. She has an awful performance on tv and people critiize her, how dare they - poor Taylor. She is an adult woman worth millions of dollars, with buckets of awards, she doesn’t need my sympathy,” one poster said.

The Haterations caused MTV to write a second item on Swift.

So what do you think? A lot of people obviously like Swift - her record sales are off the charts -, but are all the awards justified.

Michael Jackson’s family doesn’t think an involuntary manslaughter charge is tough enough and want Dr. Conrad Murray to face stiffer charges in the King of Pop’s death last summer.

Conrad Murray

Is manslaughter the
correct charge against Dr. Conrad Murray?(online
surveys)

In fact, the family would be “very upset” if Murray faces anything short of murder, Brian Oxman, the family’s lawyer, told CBS’ “The Early Show” Wednesday.

Oxman said Murray displayed recklessness in dispensing powerful drugs to help Jackson sleep, warranting a second-degree murder charge, the AP says.

The involuntary manslaughter charge prosecutors reportedly are seeking carries a four year maximum jail sentence.

“That is just a slap on the wrist, and a slap in the face, because Michael Jackson was someone who we knew was in danger of being brought to his knees, brought his death, by the use of these medications,” Oxman said.

Murray is expected to be charged as early as today.

What do you think? Should the charge be harasher?

Who knows if that Mount Rushmore thing will ever happen, but Barack Obama has already been carved.

A cheese-loving woman in England has sculpted the president and others out of cheese, according to Metro
.

Prudence Staite used LowLow mature cheese to make a replica of the commander in chief called “Low-bama”

She also made a Dita Von Teese (“Dita von Cheese”) and a model of Cheryl Cole (“Chedda Cole”).

The cheesy creations are on display at the Kings Road Gallery in London.

In the past Staite has used everything jelly beans to pizza in her artwork.

The veteran actor is expected to post $100,000 bond today, Monday, Feb. 2, and then head to a Manhattan clinic, according to E online and the Associated Press.

Cops say the 78-year-old “Men in Black” actor was drunk off his rockers Friday and armed with a revolver when he broke into a bank in Salisbury, Conn., his home town.

He is charged with criminal mischief trespassing, possession of a firearm without a permit, carrying a firearm while intoxicated and burglary, E says.

The Emmy winner’s attorney denied he had a firearm.

The attorney said Torn thought he was in his own home when he was arrested, the Hartford Courant reports.

The newspaper says that police went to the bank at about 9:45 p.m. Friday after an alarm sounded. Torn was inside and a window a was broken.
