Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco becomes a winner in his first career start, joining the likes of Brett Favre, Eric Zeier, Donald Hollas, Billy Volek, Bruce Gradkowski, Jay Cutler, Derek Anderson, Damon Huard and Shaun Hill to victimize the Bengals.

Those people that said the preseason is no indication of what this team could do,what do you say now?Mike Brown may be a smart man,but every season he proves how DUMB he is at running a francise!

some clowns actually think that the preseason doesn’t mean anything! The Bengals! What a great way to teach all of us humility by rooting for them.

So what happens now? Do they quit,do they suck it up and play?If Palmer plays like he did today does Marvin give Fitz a shot to do something? He couldn’t do worse…could he?

Chick give me one reason why Marvin should not be fired along with the entire coaching staff…that performance was a JOKE!

This may be the worst team yet. They make it so difficult to be a fan. Bad upper management, bad play calling, & too many players that think they’re better than they really are. Embarrassing. Can someone please tell me why Bratkowski calls a run play on 4th down when the O-line had been dominated all day? Just stupid. And where’s Mr. “I’m going to have my best year ever”? Nice 22 yards #85. Looks like it’s going to be 2002 all over again.

The local talking and/or typing heads are clueless. The entire coaching staff is clueless. The players just aren’t very good. A sad day, Cincinnati, “City of Losers”. And I’m the biggest loser of all, I paid for season tickets.

I just tore up my season tickets. The coaching staff suck and Marvin is the worst. The offense needs major changes inplay calling

…..they got stopped on 4th and short twice during the game and on the last attempt they get tackled 2 yards deep in the backfield. I wince remembering them taking their last timeout at 2:10 but then give up 8 yards on a rushing play. Extremely patheic performance. Other teams improved in the offseason but not Cincinnati.

Chick, please do the fans a service and push Lewis’ arrogance back into his face. When he makes excuses for this latest debacle say to him: “The fans and media see better than they hear too, and that display was pitiful. You’ve had five years and six drafts to fix this mess, when are we going to see an improvement?” Chick, you will assume legendary status amongst us fans if you work the “We see better than we hear too” comment into a question. You know you want to do it!!!!!

I actually recorded the game, came home around 5 p.m. and watched it. What a waste of my time. Horrible play-calling in key moments, uninspired play by the offensive line and no leadership from Palmer, Chad and T.J. This could be a really long year.

Chick, If Mike Brown owned a mortgage company or built homes for a living, and his product quality was of the same caliber as this team, the State Attorney General’s Office would be prosecuting him for fraud and embezzlement of funds! He has settled for a mediocre product, “scamming” the taxpayers and citizens of the community, as well as his loyal season ticket holders (myself included), for pure profit! Congratulations Mr. Brown on being the CEO/President of the “Yugo’s of the NFL”. As for the only bright light in today’s game, Bravo Zulu to Jonathan Joseph!

Mike Brown, aka “Ohso Cheapo” left his Dad a wonderful present for his 100th birthday, don’t you think? I’d like to know how Dave Shula snuck into the stadium to run the offense for the first three quarters. When Mr. Reliably Perdicable (Bob Bratkowski) finally took over, they managed to move the ball a little. But then they stalled by getting stuffed on telegraphed short yardage plays. We just saw Stage 1 of Total Bengals Meltdown, folks. It only gets worse from here.

You unlock this door with the key of hope. Beyond it is another dimension - a dimension of ineptitude, a dimension of mediocrity, a dimension of pathetic losses. You’re moving into a land of both terrible management and no clues, of awful things and lame execution. You’ve just crossed over into the Bengal Zone.

That was the worst display of supposedly professional football I have seen in quite some time. This is much, much worse than any of the teams from the 90’s. We are supposed to have talented players. The offensive line couldn’t stop a pack of elderly nuns. What an embarrassment. To say this coaching staff is a joke is akin to saying Hitler was a little mean. The Titans are going to tee off on them next week. You just know that Haynesworth is salivating. I thought we would win maybe 4 games this year but I now see that was very, very optimistic. Ho-hum, another year of Mike Brown sanctioned CRAP!

The pain-staking plan is in motion. Display an utterly inept version of an NFL team (and ownership) for the first 3 games. Then, play the remaining games as a slightly “below” average NFL team…BRILLIANT!!

Time to blow it up. Rumors of Chad doing coke. Not the drink. TJ’s phony hammy problem showed up today. Marvin - your done. Carson should request a trade or or hold out next year until some significant changes are made. What an embarrasement!!!!

Lance McAlister’s blog hit the nail on the head with two crucial facts: *Season already sold out *A new franchise record 44 consecutive games sold out with the Dec 28 season finale vs Kansas City Keep lining Mikey’s pocket and nothing will ever change. period.

It’s pretty easy to pinpoint the problem with offense. The pass protection is absolutely terrible (consistent with much of last year and the preseason) and on the few occasions when it did hold up there was no timing between the quarterback and receivers. Palmer has been there for the entire training camp and all of the minicamps. Can’t say the same for our two Pro Bowl receivers. Somebody may want to remind TJ that this is a contract year and the making the Pro Bowl last year means nothing if he just goes through the motions this year. It’s also probably worth mentioning that it’s pretty easy to double-cover your two starting receivers with a credible number three or even four receiver.

Bottom line… It comes down to personal effort for 60 minutes and we can’t seem to get it done on either side of the ball or special teams. Looks like it’s going to be a long year….. I’m glad we have High School Football to watch!!

This is absolutely hilarious! Last week I got chastised by all of the Bungal faithful because I jumped off of the ship of fools. Riddle me this all of you “In Marvin We Trust” idiots….. Just where the heck are all of your “Get outa here, Pete” posts now???” I didn’t have to watch the game because I already knew what would happen… & IT DID! I’ll check back later today just to see how many of the folks who didn’t want to hear any of my “drivel” are in here to support their Bungals.

They can’t block. They can’t tackle. If you can’t do those two things nothing else matters. With this schedule, 4-12 at best. Carson Palmer may get killed back there.
