If Virgil Carter (11) nor Greg Cook (12) wasn’t the Bengals first QB who was?

John Stofa #15, Sam Wyche #14 was also an early Bengals QB.

In looking up the early Bengals QB’s, I found this interesting bit of info on the Bengals website…. “Paul Brown, who left the Cleveland Browns following the 1962 season with an NFL record of 115-49-6, seven conference titles, and three NFL championships, had the urge to get back into football. His son Mike did a study on pro football expansion and recommended Cincinnati as a potential site”. Perhaps now we know MB could be the patron saint of the Cincinnati Bengals.

Stoffa followed ever so briefly by Gregg Cook. Here’s an interesting tidbit. The first ever team in 1968 won 3 games. Oh, I liked the Len Barry video too. Man Chick is really old. Maybe he can post a video in honor of the bengals titled Do You Believe in Magic.
