Bengals expected to be named HBO’s ‘Hard Knocks’ squad in news conference today
At noon today, May 14, the Cincinnati Bengals are expected to be named the next NFL franchise featured on HBO’s “Hard Knocks” series.
Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis and representatives from HBO and NFL Films will be among the speakers.
The Baltimore Ravens (2001), Dallas Cowboys (2002, 2008) and Kansas City Chiefs (2007) were previous participants in “Hard Knocks.” HBO’s docu-reality series that gives football fans a behind-the-scenes look into training camp.
There will be lots of cameras, microphones, producers and technicians at Georgetown (Ky.) College when the players arrive on July 30.
The 2009 season marks the Bengals 13th summer at Georgetown College after 29 years (1968-1996) at Wilmington College.
