Next year, it’s Chris Wright’s turn at NBA
DERRICK BROWN RESPECTS
FLYERS’ CHRIS WRIGHT AS
PERSON AND AS A PLAYER
Derrick Brown, the newest member of the Charlotte Bobcats, fully expects the University of Dayton’s Chris Wright to join him in the NBA a year from now.
Like Brown — the former Xavier University star forward from Chaminade Julienne High School — Wright is a long, explosive leaper with a wide wingspan and a stride that chews up space on the court. He’s also a dunking machine with good strength and speed, and — most importantly — an improving jump shot to go with his improved defense.
“Chris Wright is going to be a good (NBA) player because I feel like — in a similar sense — we’re really in the same position,” Brown said. “He’s never been in the top five of his class, but he’s always gotten better every year.
“I remember when he used to play for Trotwood — we used to go at it. I expect him to be right there, even next year to be honest with you. I’ve got a lot of respect for him. He’s a good dude off the court and on the court.”

So Chick where exactly does Derrick Brown say Chris Wright will be in the NBA next year? All his quote says is that he thinks Wright will be a good NBA player not when Wright should go play in the NBA.By troyflyer

I hope Chris has the type of year that makes him condsider going pro but I think with Brown going in the second round in what has been called a week draft will make him think twice about coming out next year.By nyc

Chris wright can’t even dominate the A-10 But he’ll get drafted next year in one of the strongest drafts in recent memory. Good god make it stop people! Take off the UD underwear and try to think a little, you’ll be better off for it.By kontender

let me tell yall somethan wright will not make it to the league because he cant stick a jumper and he is not as athletic as ppl think. look at the level of players they go against if he played people that could play he wouldnt do half the stuff he does and he still cant shoot to save his life. signed a real basketball fan.By kontender

This blog is full of haters. All D. Brown did was state his opinion. Does anyone know what Mr. Wright is doing this off season. I really hope that he makes all you HATERS eat your words and when he does make it trust and believe you all will feel stupid. He doesn’t need your blessing anyway for whatever he does, God has got his back!!!!!!!By double dribble

If Chhris Wright can play in NBA, so can I at 68, He can only dunk,I can only pass the ball, therefore I am more valuable in NBA than him where all can dunk and few can passBy to double dribble

Whenever Chris decides to make the jump, he will be ready. He is an explisove talent and is capable of making any team better. The sports-writers have been wrong before.. they said Pooh (daequan cook) wasn’t ready, now they eating they words and his new nickname in Mr. Miami 1st round aka 3-Point champ. All three guys will take the NBA by storm and leeave the haters with more to hate on.. Daequan Derrick Chris = NBA Talent for years to come.By CK

Chris Wright sucks.By Chick Ludwig

Dear GM: Chris Wright does not suck. He’s got the two ingredients it takes to be successful in life — and the NBA. Skill and Enthusiasm. He’s a wonderful athlete and outstanding person, and the University of Dayton is lucky to have him playing hoops for the Flyers. He simply needs to keep getting better and keep expanding his game. Chris needs to become a more consistent shooter and defender. I hope to see him in the NBA in 2010-11. Cheers, Chick
