Griffey speaks about ‘600’
For those interested in reading what Ken Griffey Jr. thinks about ‘600,’ - and that’s not the movie ‘300’ times two - go to daytondailynews.com/sports.
Griffey talked lengthily today in Philadelphia before taking the night off because of general soreness.
His comments are on our web-site. Check it out.
Then come on back later tonight. I’ll have something more for you.

WOW! Sitting out because he doesn’t want to hit it until he gets to Florida because his family will be there. What do you think of this?

Sorry, but there’s no other place to post this. Get a load of Daryl Thompson tonight for the Bats. 7IP, 6H, 1ER, 0BB, 6K. Bailey better be pretty darn good on Thurday because there’s another pitcher who knows it open audition time for the Reds #5 spot.

If my memory is correct, he said the similar comment about his 500 HRs three years ago.
