As it said to do above, I deleted the Temporary Internet Files in C. I tried to do the same in D where they are all in a folder called Content, with about 20 subfolders inside. However, in doing so, even by trying to delete a subfolder individualy, it said they were important to the system, so I did not. I have not yet deleted the Recycle Bin itself, where I suppose those files from C are. What about fragmentation? I will also try to send you an article about a cheap computer system. Please advise.

I bought a Registry Cleaner and it said it cleaned up 1911 registry problems. Now when I do it, it is usually 9 or 10. Seems to run pretty good now. I read an article in the springfield news-sun that tells you exactly what to do. It may be archived I do not know. It was a big help. Degunk your computer by Linda Knapp.
I was hoping there would be some information about registry repair cleaners/fixes that are supposed to help with these kinds of problems. But there was no mention whatsoever. There are many on the internet and usually sell for around $29.95. I would like to see an article and maybe a comparison of them. Do you know if they really do as claimed? Your suggestions seemed to be too time consuming and more for the advanced user. Everyone’s always looking for an easier way. How about these programs?
All of these tips are fabulous for people that have discipline to do them. I have many clients in my productivity practice that are idea people, not detail people. Because of their multiple ideas, they may not think of the same thing in the same category every time. This, unfortunately, causes duplication of information. There is a great technical solution for this problem, though. It is a software called EasyReach http://tinyurl.com/2qs7xr (PC Only). Exec. & entrepreneur clients love it.

“How-to” portion of article seems to have been skipped over.
