I’d love to see him in a scarlet jersey. If he’s a team player and can gel into the Tressell offense and lead the team, he could work out REALLY well for us. Though its too early to tell, I really like his ability and what’s been written about him. His presence and class makes him a perfect fit for the Buckeyes which could very werll lead to a NC another potential Heisman Trophy! Welcome Aboard!!!!!!
I think terrelle pryor made an excellent choice in choosing OSU. Right now, he has more talent around him than he would at Michigan. Rich Rodriguez might be a good coach, but his spread offense system will take a few years to kick in. With new players and a new style of play, it will be awhile before things will be effective there. Now maybe this might get Ohio State over the hump in winning the NC trophy. GO BUCKS!!
I’m optimistic. But let’s see him play first. I can throw a lot of nams at you that the OSU basketball team had in the 1990s …. can’t miss studs … Greg Simpson, Gerald Eaker, Charles “Killer” Macon, and football players like Maurice Clarett.
I stopped paying attention to recruiting hype after Ronald Curry was supposed to be the second coming of John Elway. He went to UNC where he was an average QB at best and a below average point guard. Now he is at best a marginally adequate WR in the NFL.
First, let’s hope we get him. Pryor’s potential is clearly there, and let’s hope we and he realize it. But there are too many really talented guys who came in and largely bombed. Maurice Clarett came in also as a number one and had an excellent first year. Now he is rotting in jail. Let’s hope for the best, but don’t bet on it.
