Look at what the unions have done to GM. The Moraine plant is closing because of union workers and poor quality products. General Motors is on track to be number 3 in 2 years. Unions are for lazy workers who do not want to perform. GM will be bankrupt in 5-6 years unless you can cut 50 percent or more of the workforce and build quality cars like Toyota or Honda.

I think that it’s a shame and an insult to the active employee’s of general motors. general motors over the last few year’s has done nothing but cry about how much money they’ve lost. It’s strange that they seem to have all kind’s of money when some other company need’s assistance. I worked for general motors and retired with Thirty-Three years of service and all g.m. has done is see how they can screw their retiree’s, they’ve raised all our co-pay’s,and require that we pay so much.

Gas is 3.78 a gallon where I live. If it helps make the price of gas go down, I say “give it to them”.

I think that it is crazy to offer the company money when GM is laying people off and offering them buyouts because they say that they are losing money. There own workers are losing jobs but they have that much money to give away. I think that it is a shame. They should be putting that money back into there own company don’t get me wrong I don’t think that there is anything wrong with helping but how can you help someone else when you say you don’t have any money.
