Do you really think that Mike Brown is going to fork out the money for the #1 pick? He sure didn’t inherit his father’s football savvy.

Seems to me like a perfect opportunity to get Fitzpatrick and J. Palmer some exposure. Scrub the season for C.P. and let the back-ups get some exposure to games other than preseason. I love the Bengals and have been a dedicated fan for 28 years but can we get an O-line?

If I was Palmer, I would sit out the next couple of years until the Bengals get a new center, left and right tackle. Gee—these guys have been with the Bengals for a couple of years and now they find out they suck? Levi Jones I can understand, his knees are hurt….but the other two? Let’s keep them on the roster for four years and then find out they can’t play. Gotta love the Mike Brown Bengals!

I almost feel Maring Lewis owes Carson an appology for putting him in the position to have to play behind a glass-jawed offensive line.

Ft Myers Foursome…is that Mom, Dad and sisters? You tell them to write Chick?

Yes, shut him down…season is wasted, no sense in killing him for nothing.

Given he sat out at the last game, and blew it at the Dallas cowboys game, I would say sit him out for a while, not the whole season, just give his muscles and joints some time to heal, instead of causing longer term damage by playing him. I still love my Bengals, and I haven’t given up yet, but, man o man, I feel like I am watching pee-wee players instead of pro-Cmon Bengals, lets get it together

Ok lets be real people. The bengals are out of it. They are only playing for a draft pick and while we are 0-6 we might as well go for #1! Why risk further injury to Palmer when the season is lost already?

I hope you’re not planning on retiring anytime soon. With the comments you’ve made recently about the Bengal’s and their ownership, any post retirement employment with the Bengal’s is pretty much out of the question. Besides, you’ve got the best Bengals coverage around. If you stick around another 20 years, you’ve even got a chance of covering a Bengals winning season.

We still don’t know what is wrong with the elbow. He won’t talk, the team doctor’s won’t talk and ole’ Marvin won’t talk. If the man can’t throw the football, then fix the problem now, play out the rest of the season and wait for his return in 09. His medical condition is just one of the many things that are wrong with this franchise. Ownership incompetence, coaching decisions, development of players and other matters need to be addressed to raise the level of play to compete in this league.
