Multi-vehicle pileup closes soutbound I-75

DAYTON - A seven-car pileup closed all southbound lane of Interstate 75 near Stanley Avenue for a few hours Tuesday morning, Nov. 10.

The accident happened about 10:15 a.m. and at least one person was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, Dayton police said. At least one lane has since been reopened.

It is unclear what caused the crash, but it is not believed to be weather-related, police said. All lanes were reported reopened as of 2:50 p.m., police said.
