Mississippi added to UD’s schedule
Dayton will play a home-and-away series with Mississippi in 2010-11 and 2011-12, playing at Ole Miss this year and getting a return game from the Rebels the following season.
The two schools met in the NIT semifinals last season, with UD winning, 68-63.
The Flyers will have three BCS opponents on their schedule this year, playing at Seton Hall in another home-and-away series and facing Cincinnati at Fifth Third Arena in a “neutral site” game as part of a regular-season exempt tournament.
The Flyers also will host New Mexico, the Mountain West Conference champion, on Jan. 1, and will have a road game at Colonial Athletic Association winner Old Dominion. Both teams reached the second round of the NCAA tournament last year.

Trumped again by UD. I hate them.

Seriously? Trumped? That’s the funniest thing I’ve read all day. Since you brought WSU into the discussion (and you’re clearly not a WSU-fan), I’m happy for them and UD for further upping their exposure on the BCS-front. This is a good game for UD.

Swampy, Seton Hall and Ole Miss, who will both be at UD in 1011-12 season, may be mid level BCS teams, but they are a huge upgrade over the dreck that UD tends to force on its loyal fans.

Not sure why Seton Hall is considered a BCS school, sure they are in the Big East for hoops and other sports, but they don’t have DI football, and the BCS designation is about football.

Why the hell would Ole Miss schedule a series with a mid-major like ud? How low can you go? That is just embarrassing. Their fans are totally pissed off.

Typical, we can’t get the first game at home for any of these series. We just break out the kneepads and don’t even try and get any leverage.

Just another touch to the potrait being painted by BG for UD and their climb into the top 10. Not to worry, BG knows exactly what he is doing. Muddy & OSU Joe, don’t come unglued.

I bet Mississippi will buy their way out of the second game. No way they are going to come to UD to play.

Hey OSU Joe, I would think the Ole Miss fans would be more pissed that they got throttled by UD in the NIT last year.

In order to post a negative comment about UD, you first must access DDN.com, link to Sports page, find the UD article, read the article, and then write a post. Why spend the time? Your effort belies your distaste and undermines your credibility. Get over yourselves.

MAybe I’m missing something here but Ole Miss is a far cry from a big time basketball program. If you get excitted over this p**s poor non con schedule—you must love the fraze, appearing this week, the captain and tennile— Wow how did they manage to get the captain and te—-OH NEVER MIND! I sometimes wonder if UD isn’t trying to p**s off season ticket holders by giving them the worse non-con schedule in big time basketball.

Wright State and U.D. should play in Mississippi, now that would get headlines. U.D. WILL never play Wright State again unless they have too. There is too much to lose and not enough to gain on U.D.’S MORIBUND SCHEDULE.
