Recycle Household Batteries at the Market
On Saturday, November 1, the National City 2nd Street Market is partnering with the Southeast Priority Board in collecting household batteries for recycling. Remember to change your smoke alarm batteries and recycle any flashlight or other batteries from the September windstorm. The market offers household battery recycling year round during normal operating hours in conjunction with Montgomery County Solid Waste District.
The market offers local farm products year round including, meat, bread, maple syrup and honey.The market will be open on November 26 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for stock-up Wednesday. Pick-up all your last minute Thanksgiving needs - homemade bread, fresh turkeys, pies, cakes, flowers and more. It is recommended that you place special orders with individual vendors one week in advance.
