Hearts and candy already?
Outta the way Santa Clause, Cupid’s about to shoot you.
As Christmas clearance sales dwindle to a few remaining, unwanted items (now 75% off or more in many places), red and pink hearts dominate seasonal aisles of the stores.
Today, the Meijer store on Col. Glenn Highway already had a few center aisles filled with Valentine candy, cards and decorations. While it does seem early for all the pink and red hearts, the love-liest day of all is really only a month and half away.
Have you thought yet about what you’ll get your significant other or loved ones? Or how you’ll spend the day (it’s a Saturday this year)?
Since the holiday falls on both a weekend and on an already typically busy dining out night this year, if you’re planning to go out to eat, I recommend getting reservations nowish. Better to have them now than to wait until the last minute and not have anywhere to go.
