Budget-friendly Valentine dining
If you’re trying to stick to a tight budget this Valentine’s Day, several pizza places may have their hearts in the right place… on the pizza.
Papa John’s, Cassano’s and Papa Murphy’s are all offering heart-shaped pizzas this year.
Papa John’s is offering a heart-shaped, thin crust, 1 topping pizza and a Cinnapie for $14.99. You can also get just the pizza for $9.99. All locations should be participating, but call your location to check and order your pizza.
Cassano’s has a 1 topping heart-shaped pizza for $13.99. This one is not precut (so it does not lose shape), but does come with a mini pizza cutter so you can cut it. Call 294-KING to order.
Papa Murphy’s (where you buy the pizza uncooked and bake it at home) has a heart-shaped pepperoni pizza for $6.99.
Papa Murphy’s also notes that if you’re going out for the evening (perhaps somewhere fancier than your own dining room), a heart shaped pizza may be the perfect dinner for your children and their babysitter.
If pizza isn’t your thing, maybe White Castle is? You’ll have to venture to a larger city in most cases to participate, but as they’ve done for several years now, White Castle restaurants will have romantic Valentine’s Day dining (complete with reservations). They’ll feature “tableside service, flowers and candlelight.” The closest locations that are participating seem to be Columbus and Cincinnati ones.
Do you know of other inexpensive, but fun Valentine dining options?
