Holiday drink recipes … got any?

So with the holidays coming it’s time to start recipe hunting for richer cocktails that can impress the guests at the end of the evening and lighter recipes that will be at the ready when they walk through the door. I often find light cocktails are easier to figure out than the heavy. I’ve been on a search for decadent dessert drinks that will raise the bar on cocktails.

I was recently recieved some recipe ideas from Stirrings. I’ll be trying these out. If you visit the site be sure to click on “recipes” and search for yourself. In the meantime, here are some ideas:

Pumpkin Cheesecake 1 oz. pumpkin spice syrup 2 oz. vodka 1 oz. cream

Hot Apple Pie 1 oz dark rum .5 oz Goldschlager 2 oz Stirrings Spiced Apple Mixer Top with Hot Brewed Tea, dollop of cream and Stirrings Pie Crustini Rimmer

Tiramisu 1.5 oz Smirnoff Vanilla Twist vodka 1 oz Godiva White Chocolate liqueur 1 oz Stirrings Espresso Mixer Shake well and serve up with Stirrings Chocolate Rimmer

Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake 2 oz Caramel Vodka 1 oz Stirrings Chocolate Mixer 1 oz Stirrings Egg Nog Mixer Shake vigorously dip rim in caramel sauce (ice cream topping) and sprinkle edge with Stirrings Pie Crustini Rimmer
