Miami prevails in regular-season finale

The Miami RedHawks beat the Buffalo Bulls 72-63 tonight, March 4 in their regular-season finale at Millett Hall.

Miami improved to 13-17 overall, 9-7 in the Mid-American Conference.

The RedHawks, who snapped a four-game MAC losing streak, were led by Kenny Hayes and Julian Mavunga, each with 17 points. Antonio Ballard added 13 points.

RedHawks lead Bulls by nine

The Miami RedHawks lead the Buffalo Bulls 49-40 with 11:15 left in the second half tonight, March 4 at Millett Hall.

Julian Mavunga has scored 14 points for the RedHawks and Kenny Hayes has 10.

Miami leads Buffalo at halftime

The Miami RedHawks lead the Buffalo Bulls 33-29 at halftime tonight, March 4 at Millett Hall.

Julian Mavunga leads Miami with nine points, Antonio Ballard has scored seven and Kenny Hayes has six.

Buffalo’s Mitchell Watt leads all scorers with 11 points.

RedHawks trail Bulls early

The Buffalo Bulls lead the Miami RedHawks 19-16 with 7:38 left in the first half tonight, March 4 at Millett Hall.

Miami is shooting 36.8 percent from the field. Julian Mavunga leads the RedHawks with five points.

The RedHawks are playing their regular-season finale and are trying to clinch a first-round bye to the Mid-American Conference Tournament. In order to do so, Miami needs a victory tonight and a little help from other teams in the MAC in order to win the tiebreaker for the No. 4 seed.
