‘He’s after me’… because he thinks you had sex with his wife

DAYTON June 27 Officers patrolling on North Smithville Road observed a male running in the street wearing only shorts. He was screaming, “He’s after me!” They stopped him and asked who was after him. He gave them the name of a male (subject) and when they asked how he knew him, the man in question arrived on scene. He ran toward the complainant yelling, “I’m going to kick your expletive, expletive!” The subject was cuffed for officer safety and then explained to them that he caught the victim having sex with his wife. He also said he wanted to “kick his expletive.” They calmed the subject down and placed him in the cruiser. The victim kept telling officers the subject broke into his house and he wanted to press charges against him for assault. Officers then went to a residence in the 2000 block of North Smithville Road and spoke with the subject’s wife. She said he came into the home and was going to assault the victim so she laid across him. Her husband was unable to hurt him because he ran away. The subject started chasing him but came back inside and punched her in the left side of her face. The male victim refused to complete a statement and said he could see why the subject thought something was going on between him and his wife. The subject said he followed his nephew to the residence on Smithville Road but didn’t know his wife was there but found out when his nephew went to pick her up. The subject said he walked into the house and saw the two having sex. He admitted to assaulting the male but denied hitting his wife. Domestic violence charges were filed against the subject.
