There’s more than skating going on in this park, it would seem

SPRINGBORO Oct. 4 Officers in the area of Renwood Place noticed a parked vehicle and walked toward the skate park.

They heard thumping and flicking sounds, but were unable to determine where the sounds were emanating from. The officers continued walking around the park and noticed an odor of marijuana was coming from under one of the ramps.

There was a large piece of metal/wood against the ramp that one of the officers was able to move.

He saw two pairs of legs and a baggie of marijuana on the ground between them. One subject was flicking a lighter. An officer ordered them from under the ramp and three subjects emerged.

They were arrested on charges of drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia criminal trespass, and loitering.
