Democrats and their gridiron gaffes
Maybe Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden really meant to tick off Ohio State fans when Biden told folks back home in Delaware that:
“I was out in Ohio. I told the folks in Ohio that we’d kick Ohio State’s a@@.”
Ohio Republican chairman Bob Bennett, who knows how touchy Buckeye fans are, jumped right on that fumble on Friday, Sept. 19:
“As if his comments about it being a patriotic duty for Ohioans to pay higher taxes weren’t bad enough, now Biden is taking pot shots at the Buckeyes.
“Barack Obama and Joe Biden must really think they can win this election without Ohio, because they’re doing their best to lose it with stupid comments like these.
“Keep talking, Joe.”
Biden may be following in the gridiron gaffe tradition of John Kerry, the Democrats’ loser in 2004 who famously said “I just go for Buckeye football, that’s where I’m coming from.”
Except Kerry made that statement while near Detroit before flip flopping to:
“That was while I was in Ohio. Now - I know - I’m in the state of Michigan. You got a great big M and a powerhouse of a team.”
Let’s see what Biden says if Obama lets him go to Michigan.

Chris, would you rather keep the money you earn or have the government spend it on providing health care for those that can choose to get it but don’t? Would you rather have corporate tax hikes double unemployment and tank the economy or let the economy correct itself through the free market? Ted Kazinski had a top notch education too, maybe the Unibomber should be his Secretary of State.By Philman

Well Willie this is first I have heard of it, your Boss will be calling you today and ripping you a new one I’m sure , you forgot the DDN policy don’t report any thing negitive against the Deomcratic party. we have the FBI investigating a Democrat senators son for ileagaly hacking into to Gov. Palin’s email account, not a peep from the ddn,we have 3 Democrats skimming Millions of dollars from Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac, one works for Obama ,not a peep from the ddn.you better watch out willie your boss will be calling you.By Chris

Seriously, if people get worked up over this, someone sticking up for his alma mater, they dont need to vote. The repubs are turning this election into a circus by bickering about the dumbest things! I didnt know we were looking at who rooted for who…I thought we were looking for who would be the best to run the country!
