Palin rouses Lakewood crowd with praise for McCain
LAKEWOOD- To chants of “we will win” from the crowd, Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin promised to go to Washington and take care of overdue business.
“If you’re ready to shake up Washington and clean up Wall Street..if you want to win the wars, John and I want to work for you,” Palin said on Monday, Nov. 3, to more than a thousand flag-waving fans in Lakewood Park in heavily Democratic Cuyahoga County.
A day after Democrat Barack Obama drew 80,000 to a downtown Cleveland rally, Palin told the crowd not to be impressed by big turnouts.
“They can fill a stadium but they cannot keep our country safe,” Palin said.
It was expected to be the McCain-Palin campaign’s final Ohio campaign stop before voting on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
She also seized on a recently disclosed audio tape of an interview Obama had with the San Francisco Chronicle in January in which Obama criticized the use of coal to produce electricity. She said the light finally was shining on Obama’s views.
“So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can,” Obama said in the interview. “It’s just that it will bankrupt them because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted.”
Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland, an Obama supporter, lashed back
“After John McCain said he’d like to ’ away from coal entirely,’ his campaign is hardly in a position to criticize a coal state Senator like Barack Obama who has outlined a $150 billion investment in clean coal and other technologies to create jobs and build a new energy economy,” Strickland said in a prepared statement.
Palin also continued to bash Obama as ideologically committed to raising taxes.
“Only John McCain has the courage and the experience and the wisdom to get this economy back on track,” said Palin.
Strickland said that McCain and Palin can’t name a “single thing” they’d do differently on the economy than President Bush.

Actually, I think that Huckabee would have been a better choice. Tom Ridge (mr plastic sheets and duct tape) may have been too divisionary. Palin is unfit for any national office. And, “to dd”, Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11. And, Bush lied about the existence of WMD’s. But, we all know that now.By Jim

Ben, I highly doubt Palin would outscore Biden on an aptitude test when she can’t even name a newspaper. Biden has two BA’s from Delaware,(history, political science) and a Juris Doctor in Law from Syracuse. Palin had trouble completing a communications degree. I really don’t know what Palin has done or said that would lead anyone to the conclusion that she has intellect. Her latest debacle was being Rick Rolled by to Canadian DJ’s. Even aides within the McCain campaign have called her a wack job and a diva.By To dd

With wars based upon lies, creation of nonexistent enemies, no private ownership, corporate protection over labor, spying on americans, and limits on freedoms. An Obama presidency should fit in nicely with plans Islamic terrorists have for America. Afterall, they’ve waited patiently since 9/11/01, and soon won’t have those pesky Iraq/Afghanistan wars to preoccupy them and thwart their efforts! (Obama supporters - be careful what you wish for.) God bless George W. Bush and our wonderful, brave military troops!!By anti Palins can eat it now!

ANCHORAGE, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin violated no ethics laws when she fired her public safety commissioner, the state personnel board concluded in a report released Monday. “There is no probable cause to believe that the governor, or any other state official, violated the Alaska Executive Ethics Act in connection with these matters,” the report says. “Gov. Palin is pleased that the independent investigator for the Personnel Board has concluded that she acted properly in the reassignment of Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan,” her attorney, Thomas Van Flein, said in a statement. (enlarge photo) Republican vice presidential candidate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin waves to supporters at the end of a rally, Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, in Dubuque, Iowa. (AP Photo/Charlie Neibergall) Tools * Print this page * E-mail this page * Most popular An earlier, separate investigation by the Legislature found that Palin had abused her office. Monegan said he felt pressure from Palin, her husband and her staff to fire a state trooper who had gone through a nasty divorce from Palin’s sister. Palin denied the claim, and said Monegan was fired last July because she wanted the department to head in a new direction. Monegan told The Associated Press on Monday that he was “perplexed and disappointed” by the report. It was prepared by Timothy Petumenos, an independent investigator for the Alaska Personnel Board.By Ben

One final comment. As readers of this space know, I have been very critical of the selection of Sarah Palin. Yet I do not regard her as a reason to cast aside the principles of my life on voting day. She may not bring much knowledge to this ticket. Yet she is obviously no fool. Indeed, using the favored metric of Joe Biden (“I think I have a higher IQ than you”), my guess is that she would probably outscore the Democratic vice presidential candidate on a standardized aptitude test. To his credit, Biden has conscientiously worked to familiarize himself with the great questions of national policy. To her discredit, Palin has not. But on Tuesday, I will trust that she can learn. She has governed a state - and she did risk her career by defying the corrupt leaders of the Alaska Republican party. Beyond that, it says something important that so many millions of people respond to her as somebody who incarnates their beliefs and values. At a time when the great American middle often seems to be falling further and further behind, there may be a special need for a national leader who represents and symbolizes that middle. And if worse did come to worst, who doubts that the whole country - including Colin Powell and Larry Eagleburger - would rally to the aid and support of the first woman president, thrust into office by some unexpected tragedy? The U.S. is a great and greatly enduring country. It flourishes because of the genius of its institutions and the decent and moderate instincts of its people. I look to the American future with confidence always - under a President McCain preferably, under a President Obama … if it must be. National PostBy Ben

Ben, The bottom line is that someone with an IQ of maybe 100, shouldn’t be placed in the position of taking over as President. It’s really that simple. McCain should have told Davis, Schmidt, Rove, and all the far right wingnuts, to stick it, and gotten Lieberman as VP. At least if he went down, he would have kept his integrity. McCain sold out to the guys that smeared him in 2000, which did it for me. I like McCain, but he sold out.By Ben

If I was king and could pick a running mate, it would not have been Palin, but she’s not going to be a Cheney lurking behind the screen pulling the levers. She’ll open sessions and do the other ceremonial stuff that needs to be done. She’ll sit on committees and make speeches and eventually she will spin up to a functioning VP. I was initially thrilled to see her because it pissed the Dems off so bad, she’s one of us. She has had financial worries, she has had to support a business, she has had to make payroll and she has lead a state. Does she present well? Nope, that accent of hers grates on my nerves, but she’s not going to be making policies hopefully. McCain is a one term potential president and hopefully some of the numbnutts who should have stepped up will come in to run in 4 years. I think his ideas are much more realistic and manageable for the near future. We have to have stability under us before real changes can be made, we’re in a spin right now and someone has to be there to correct it and I am convinced McCain is the guy. He has ridden it before and has the experience to know how to do it. He has crossed the aisle and has worked both sides. I have a world of respect for Joe Lieberman and believe him to be an honest and smart man. He supports McCain. Obama has no experience. When he should have been getting the experience he was out running for president. He did not gain the trust of the others in the Senate, he didn’t gain the experience he should have, he did not run the committees he should have. In 10 years, maybe, but not now. Glad we at least agree on Mike Tenore. It’s terribly apparent the DDN has decided to really throw it’s support to the other guy. Its a shame because if the citizens knew what they were paying for but not getting there would be no question that Tenore would be the next Sheriff. Tenore didn’t have the gift of money like the other guy. He hasn’t been able thankfully to come up with any of the stupid commercials the current guy is running. Tenore has talked to the people, he understands the needs and hopefully he will be the next sheriff. The citizens deserve it.By Jim

All you guys that keep trying to defend Sarah Palin, and the decision to select her, need to have your heads examined. Palin has been nothing but a drag on McCain and the ticket. Her interviews have been a complete disaster and she has many skeletons in her closet considering she has been Gov. for less then two years. Palin was found guilty of abuse of power. She lied about the bridge to nowhere. She lied about earmarks, lobbyist, firing her cook, taxes, book banning, the Jet, etc.. She charged Alaska 20k (per diem) to stay in her own house, charged Alaska over 23k to take her kids to places on business trips when they had no business going. She has shown nothing but ignorance and arrogance when questioned about the most basic things. Palin is a disaster and a national disgrace.By For Jim

Jim, here’s another Mr. Obvious moment for you. Palin is not running, you’re not going to vote for Palin. You have the choice for Obama or McCain, it’s not like ordering ala carte. The fact that she isn’t a lawyer is bonus points for her in my book. Lawyers have screwed up enough of this country for me. Defense lawyers cost us big on our insurance premiums, they are the leeches on the behind of America, so that she isn’t a lawyer is just great. Biden is another lawyer. I’ve had enough of lawyers Jim, another point for Palin. McCain also isn’t a lawyer, point for McCain. Obama does not have the work history to support a presidential election. His background is great for a teacher not worth a hoot as the CEO of the country. I love the idea that real people on the republican side are running for office. It’s nice to believe non lawyers will be in the top 2 jobs of the country. PS just to prove I’m not a rabid anti democrat I’m voting for Mike Tenore for Sheriff and hope you and everyone else will too. The status quo at the Sheriffs office has to end. Mike Tenore is a good man and deserves the sheriffs position.By Jim

Ben, These associations are fear based,(surprise) overblown, misleading, and you guys know this. IMO they are not important compared to education and intellect. The main point I was making, is that Sarah Palin couldn’t get accepted into ANY law school in the country, let alone the University Of Chicago, even though the primary job of the President is to defend the constitution. Palin doesn’t even know the history of the Pledge, yet some want to make her a VP. The lady has clearly shown ignorance, (not gaffs) that are beyond what any American should expect from their leaders. I want the very brightest and most educated to be making the decisions, not a clueless Hockey Mom from Alaska.By ben

Jim, I guess I have to point out the obvious, teaching is not the same as doing. I read a book about being a pilot once, don’t make me a pilot. All the while he was teaching law, he was associating with people who thrilled at breaking the law. While he was teaching the constitution, he associated with people who wanted to over throw the constitution. While he was teaching the history of law in America, he was listening to a preacher G-damning America.By Jim

Kenyon, as a transplanted American from Canada I can understand your confusion. Coming from a country who will immediately give money and homes to anyone who comes in, even the known terrorists all courtesy of the Canadian tax payers, our system is probably a bit “foreign” to you. This election boils down for me at least to who do I trust and what do I know about them. Obama sat in a pew of a terribly racist church for 20 years. He listened to an idiot preacher for 2 decades. Obama associated closely with a terrorist who should be rotting in prison right now, but because of a screw up by the investigators he is free. That man, William Ayers made the statement after the trial that he was guilty as hell but free as a bird, what a country. That man tried to blow up and kill police officers and military. That mans wife worked with Obama’s wife at a law firm. Barak claimed he didn’t know much about him, said at one time he was just some guy who lived in his neighborhood. In one of Obama’s I love me books he writes about a poet named Frank, who turns out to be yet another radical anti american racist who Obama claims as a mentor. Obama’s mansion didn’t have enough property so a sweetheart deal was worked out with one of his neighbors who turns out was a white collar criminal who sold him land at a fraction of it’s value. That man is now in prison. Canada is from what I read largely a socialist country or at least one much more socialist than the US is. The redistribution of wealth is one of the tenets I read about socialism and that is what Obama is supporting. Obama is making huge promises that he cannot keep. He is saying anything in order to gain the support of good people who want life to be better for them and their children. He’s saying all the right things, but the problem is, the president does none of what he is promising. He isn’t going to raise or lower taxes without support of the legislature, he isn’t going to give you free medical without the support of the Congress and he isn’t going to write a single law. He’s going to have people in congress who have had their hands in the cookie jar for a long time. Nancy Pelousi and Barney Frank are 2 of the biggest idiots that he will have to look to for support. I am sure they will support everything Obama comes up with, but there are still republican legislators who might throw a wrench in the works. My concern is he is like smoke, you can see it, but there’s not much there. He has no pedigree, no background. He’s been a zero as a senator and now he wants to be president. The voters need to look beyond his pretty speeches and empty promises. You are known by the company you keep and you seem to be a good person who would never have the kind of associations that Obama has. You would not sit and listen to the racist rantings of that preacher for half your life. You would not expose your children to that kind of hate speech. Is McCain the best guy for the job? Oh heck no he’s not. BUT he has a track record, he has votes to look at, he has work product we can examine to see if he does what he says he’s going to do. Obama has none of that. In 10 years, after having the experiences and receiving the benefit of having worked in the system and getting things done, I might have a different opinion, but as is, right now, he is the devil we don’t know and I prefer the one that we do. This is just too important to chance. Canada from my visits there is a nice country to visit, but the problems there are problems I don’t want visited on me and my children. We all get medical treatment whether we have the ability to pay or not without having to wait in line. Those costs are passed on to those of us who have health insurance and the hospitals pass those costs on in the huge medical bills that those of us with insurance pay. If this choice for you is based solely on health care, I beg you to really think hard about what else will come with your vote.By Jim

Cheney and Rove also dodged the draft. But, that was ok too. Palin’s daughter gets knocked up. And yet, thats ok with the repubs. You had a conservative radio host who was a drug addict. Lets just call that “back pain”. You had a congressman in florida sending obscene text messages to teens. Oh the repubs decide to forget that. You have a member of congress looking for gay sex in an airport bathroom. Hmm, seems to be a pattern. You have the head of the evangelicals going after male prostitutes and drugs. Real problem. And, you have McCain, Keating 5, Iran/Contra and all. You have McCain that supports the Bush failure. And, is endorsed by the most criminal VP in american history. I’m just amazed at the ignorance of the Obama cool-aid consumers. Jewel I just don’t even know what to say to you. Obama did cocaine. Mrs. McCain was addicted to pain killers — something thousands of citizens deal with on a daily basis. The Palin’s are supporting a pregnant teenage daughter while Obama supports withholding medical care to babies who survive a botched abortion. McCain spent more days as a POW than Obama has spent in Congress. McCain at least has a spine to actually vote on issues rather than vote “present” — something he has done over 150 times. Who is BO? No one knows because he has hidden most of his past from public view. All I have to say is God help us if O becomes president.By K Kenyon

P.S. I’m not sure if people in Ohio know, but this is also a FACT: Palin’s husband has long belonged to a small, disruptive group in Alaska which wants to secede from the union. She has also spoken to and joined this group in some of their events. However, this group also wants to continue, even after they supposedly would become non-American, to receive federal money and handouts. Now THAT I find disturbing! I have since heard, but can’t confirm as of now, that Palin’s husband only temporarily signed OUT of this group when it became an issue. But I think all Alaskans know where the Palin’s stand - above and separate from the rest of us. KKenyonBy ds

John McCain is not the same man as I saw in Arizona giving a speech at Luke AFB, say around 1974. The republican party of today is no where near the republican party of Reagan, Goldwater or Ike. The republican party of today is a bunch of hate filled liars. Bush and Cheney are examples of that. McCain/Palin are Bush /Cheney clones. The reason the republicans have turned to hate and lies is because they have lost the people. A war based upon lies, an economy in the toilet, and so munch scandal within the republican ranks have caused the american public to shun and hate the republican party. They did it to themselves. The democrats did not cause the republican dysfunction. The republican party has to take responsibility for their own failure to lead. Perhaps in another four years, the republicans can try again. A few words of advice to the republicans. Ditch the evangelical two issue concept and look towards all the people; regardless of religion. Quit using fear as a motivator. Get rid of people like Rove and run an honest campaign. Admit when you are wrong.By K Kenyon

To Jim and “No Way” I have no idea why French-Canadians might come across the border. They have made it clear they don’t want to be a part of Canada anyway, so I can’t speak for them. However, I was born and raised in Canada when there was not a national health system. No preventive health care. Didn’t matter how hard you worked and paid taxes, most people could not afford to see a doctor. I am now American and I won’t go into more details than I did about Canadian healthcare. But I am telling you that we all work hard, pay taxes, and we working stiffs get exactly the same care as anyone with money. In fact, no one, money or not, is allowed to “buy their way into care”, if there are any small lists, they go on it the same as you or I. Maybe our taxes are slightly higher, I don’t know. I know that Alcohol and Tobacco industries are taxed and some of that goes into medical care for Everyone - especially for diseases related to substance abuse. The point is - we hard-working people are not discriminated against in matters of care. The few times care is not immediately available in Canada or some unusual circumstance arises where treatment is not available, our health care system pays for our care outside the country! Where ever we choose! The only reason we may sometimes have a short wait - and urgent, emergency, cancer and similar care is never waited for - is that the federal and provincial governments did not look ahead to educating more doctors, nurses, and medical staff (like the U.S. has also been doing) and therefore we are having a bit of a shortage. BUT - if you are in a terrible accident, you are taken by ambulance or air to the nearest trauma center and it is paid for. Same for serious diseases. Care is also provided for the terminally ill. I would rather pay a very small amount more in my taxes and be guaranteed health care, than to work hard, pay taxes, and with insurance even, be denied health care and lose my home, my bank account, and anything I worked my whole life for to attain. Enough said. KKenyonBy Jim

I hope Obamas brilliant campaign is indicative of the way hed manage our nation. McCains campaign is sloppy, erratic, with a disjointed, murky version of Bush economics. Knowing little except war, all McCain can do is savagely attack and libel Obama. Cindy, McCains wife, confessed to drug addiction and theft of drugs. Theres Palinss pregnant, teenage, unmarried daughter,Bristol. If McCain wins, can you imagine the international tabloid headlines? Constant jokes about Palins lack of knowledge, pictures of her in a bikini as a beauty pageant contestant. Questions about McCains adulteries, the convictions of ethics violations against both McCain and Palin. Will Cindy be back on drugs? Will the 18 year old shotgun groom stay with Bristol? I am a senior on a small disability income who is worried about future health care and costs. I have also traveled extensively and have personal EXPERIENCE with various health care systems. The ones in the States nearly brought me to financial ruin. In all the others, I DID HAVE CHOICES. I keep hearing from McCain’s camp about how national health care is socialist. Believe me, it is far from it and I dislike that word and the use of it to instill fear in the American public. So if youre hesitant on voting for someone because of THAT word, please read on There are health systems in Europe that have been extensively researched and reported on, about the way they work and how they are funded, but McCain does not seem to be interested in “Facts”. The health care systems in Europe, some of which are public, some private, some a combination, work, and in the countries they work people ARE healthier and they DO HAVE CHOICES! Canada has comprehensive PREVENTIVE medical care and technology and procedures, all of which are by need and CHOICE, and accessed no matter what your financial situation. This means national health care for ALL individuals. The federal government sends the money to provinces (like states) and health care is delivered according to need in that province, and ACCORDING TO URGENCY. THERE IS NO WAIT FOR URGENT SURGERY OR OTHER EMERGENCY CARE!! In FACT, IF a person in Canada cant access some particular procedure, or a procedure is not done in Canada, and it is available out of the country - THE PROVINCIAL HEALTHCARE SYSTEM PAYS FOR THE OUT-OF-COUNTRY costs in the majority of cases. Canada has the latest technology around including MRIs, CTscans you name it. If a small hospital does not, for some reason, have a particular piece of diagnostic equipment, a patient is quickly sent to the nearest large hospital by ambulance or air, all paid for, to have the diagnostics needed. Canadians DO GET TO CHOOSE. Most employers pay a large percentage of health care costs. Some comes out of Canadian taxes. If unemployed, the same health care is also provided free. Additionally, catastrophic health care IS provided and included in healthcare, at no cost to the patient. People are also able to CHOOSE additional coverage if they have the money to pay for it, usually for minimal services like physical therapy, etc. All of those services are also paid by the healthcare system with a ceiling, but then offered at a reduced cost so no one gets turned away. Canadians CHOOSE their own doctor, hospital, tests, surgery, and any other healthcare. IF they don’t like something they are able to CHOOSE other doctors, procedures, healthcare. Each province also has their own Prescription Medicine plans to reduce or even offer free medications to those who need it, like seniors, poor people, etc. I could go on and on. Most of the European health systems are even more inclusive. Senator Ted Kennedy fought for national healthcare for years, and had expert testimony and research from other countries to support his ideas. Unfortunately there are irresponsible politicians, wanting to make the pharmaceutical and insurance companies richer, who instill irrational Fears in people. These tactics are NOT in your best interest. You actually CAN get affordable healthcare without going bankrupt! Just think of all the uninsured people in the U.S. whose taxes are already paying their way? It would be much better to pay a little and receive much more and not discriminate healthcare for only rich people? I think not. Please think carefully about who you vote for. Sen. Obama is on the right track with wanting to help ALL U.S. citizens with affordable healthcare. K. KenyonBy Hey Big Sky

Coal : (1) Provides 85% of the Ohios Electricity. (2) Has Kept Ohios Electric Rates 14% Below the US Average. (3) Provides 12,000 coal based jobs, $484 million in income and $1.4 billion in economic output. And (4) Coal Comes from Ohio. Over 60% or our oil is imported from Foreign Nations and natural gas imports will soon follow under Obamas plan. The risk is great —Russia, Iran, and Venezuela have 46% of the Natural Gas. Ohioans benefit from coal and the electricity it delivers at far lower than average pricesBy Bigsky007

Approximately twenty-five years ago the Democrats placed a woman on its presidential ticket and twenty-five years ago apartheid South Africa changed its stark and evil features. Today, twenty-five years later, the GOP primary debates, conventions and rallies look like South Africas twenty-five years ago. South Africa changed. Whats wrong with the GOP, this being the eighth year into the new century? Richard Nixon changed the GOP into an embarrassing anachronism, which can’t be explained to our foreign friends. As it exists today, it is the perfect recruiting tool for our enemies because the stark, anti-democratic, picture it presents doesn’t reflect this country, its touted values or its tenets. For example, starting with Nixon, virtually all the third world thuggish political activities (dirty tricks) have had their origin in the GOP and its sympathizers. Lincoln would have nothing to do with todays GOP. There is little within the GOP that an enlightened person would find inviting. The key here is: EnlightenedBy Ethel S.

Sen. Obama supported the Bush/Cheney Energy Bill in 2005. He was going to take federal funds under the Campaign Reform law and then broke his pledge. Sen. Obama said he was going to filabuster the FISA and then voted for it. We are supporting Sen. McCain and Gov. Palin because they have the best policies to run his country and a proven record of accomplishments. How is a limited tax break to a narrow group of middle class taxpayers, yet defined by Sen. Obama going to create any jobs? Empty and broken promises is what you will get with the Sen. Obama. Vote McCain/PalinBy J Current

All undecided voters I know are used to voting just on abortion. This time, its not possible. Fact is, neither candidate can end abortion. Probably cant throw the issue to the states either. Why? Because the great majority of Republican and Democrat voters are pro-choice. Congress wont actually let any President appoint a judge to overturn Roe vs. Wade. For years, candidates have made empty promises to pro-life Christians, knowing that they will never have to prove up. It seems pro-life voters are tired of being exploited. They don’t believe the same old rhetoric and hypocrisy any more. So now, people have to look wider and choose a candidate who serves the sanctity of life in other ways like, health care, and preventing wars. That’s why so many are going for Obama.By Media Weasel

McCain and Obama hold the SAME POSITION on coal. And heres a thing the McCain campaign actually doctored the tape heres what they missed out: Obama: “But this notion of no coal, I think, is an illusion. Because the fact of the matter is is that right now we are getting a lot of our energy from coal. And China is building a coal-powered plant once a week. So what we have to do then is figure out how can we use coal without emitting greenhouse gases and carbon.” Of course theyre not going to bankrupt the coal industry why would they bankrupt an industry that theyre going to help reach zero carbon emissions? Bankruptcy wouldnt make any sense. Are we going to continue using foreign oil, or start to rely on our own resources and make the countrys air cleaner? Heres some more info: Obama and Biden on Clean Coal: Develop and Deploy Clean Coal Technology. Carbon capture and storage technologies hold enormous potential to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions as we power our economy with domestically produced and secure energy. As a U.S. Senator, Obama has worked tirelessly to ensure that clean coal technology becomes commercialized. An Obama administration will provide incentives to accelerate private sector investment in commercial scale zero-carbon coal facilities. In order to maximize the speed with which we advance this critical technology, Barack Obama and Joe Biden will instruct DOE to enter into public private partnerships to develop 5 first-of-a-kind commercial scale coal-fired plants with carbon capture and sequestration. Obama Passed An Amendment Supported by Biden To Add $200M For Carbon Capture And Sequestration Technology In Senates FY 2008 Budget. Obama was the chief sponsor of an amendment to the 2008 Senate Budget resolution that added $200 million for Function 270 (Energy) for the demonstration and monitoring of carbon capture and sequestration technology by the Department of Energy. [SA 599 to SCR 21, Agreed to by Unanimous Consent, 3/23/07] Biden Proposed Energy Plan That Would Invest In Technologies To Use Coal More Cleanly. In 2007, Biden proposed an energy plan, Joe Biden supports more than $50 billion in new incentives for research into: alternative fuel and energy sources, renewable energy technology, nuclear waste management and safety, and carbon capture and sequestration technologies that could allow us to use coal cleanly.
