Obama was not Ohio’s top vote-getter
According to the Associated Press, President-elect Barack Obama was not the candidate on Tuesday who received the most votes in Ohio.

Ohio Supreme Court Justice Maureen O&’Connor (right), who drew 2.8 million votes in her successful re-election bid, received more votes than Obama in Ohio.
That’s the most number of votes a state supreme court justice has received, according to the AP.
Obama received 2,749,284 votes in Ohio, according to the Secretary of State’s office.

Hey Dee,how often have you followed your union’s wishes and how much have they ran your life? I have long-time union members in my family, I have worked with many union members, and they let the union bosses tell them how to vote and what is good and right for them. Is this the same thing you are talking about regarding the Republican party? Or is this another double standard like all of you Dem’s and libs live by?By dee

I read todays comments posted in the paper. Anyone who is not willing to research the facts and vote for the the one they think will do the most good for our country to benefit all or the majority of her people are the true traitors of a free and democratic society. To be loyal to a party line regardless of any damage the representatives may be doing or has already inflicted on the populace - shows me just how uncaring and shallow their way of thinking is. That’s why they have earned the title of being called sheeple because they let their party think for them. I don’t know if it is because of there being too lazy to learn the truth or just too stupid to see truth when it slaps them in the face. I was taught if I protected a wrong doer then I was just as guilty as they were. I’m not a bit surprised that Obama did not carry Butler or Warren county because the Republican party is in the greater number in these two counties - however he did carry Ohio overall. A prime example where the electorate are true blue party loyalists who want to control the masses at any cost. Even buying votes at a $100.00 each. The Republican party has controlled Ohio for the past 16 years (until 2004). They seem to want to destroy every program that benefits the blue collar worker or the middle class or Main Street citizens (the people who have payed their way and supported this country from square one and now the entire world). Look what Taft and Noe done to the workers comp. fund. Who would have benefited from the coin deal? You can bet it would not be the workers comp. fund. Look how Montgomery and Petro closed their eyes when funds were being misappropriated from the Teachers,Firemen and Police retirement funds. Has any good fellow Republican been prosecuted or any money has been recovered? Only Noe but not good ole Republican Taft. Bush wanted to privatize Social Security. Had he succeeded would it have been in the hands of Wall Street to invest for us? One more question for the loyal party liners- Would Jesus try to persuade his Father to allow bigots, trouble makers, traitors or anyone hating their fellow man because of the color of his skin into Heaven? Think about it - God created us all- Red - Yellow - Black and White. If we are unable to respect each other here on earth, why would you think he would only allow a certain few enter into Heaven?
