President Obama to discuss health insurance reform in Ohio
President Barack 0bama will travel to northeastern Ohio on Monday, March 15, to discuss health insurance reform, the White House announced on Tuesday, March 9.
The trip will be the President’s third in the span of a week to discuss health insurance reform, the White House said. On Monday he traveled to the Philadelphia area and on Wednesday he will speak in St. Charles, Mo., the White House added.
The trio of visits come as Obama and his fellow Democrats who control Congress try to win approval of an overhaul of the health care insurance system.
Details of the trip to Ohio are expected to be released later.

Government takeover of healthcare won’t solve any problems. Even the CBO is distancing themselves from the bills— with disclaimers. Everyone agrees we need real reform, not Obamacare.

Reform is a good idea, but making it free is a horrible idea. We get paid less in Ohio because the ‘cost of living’ is lower (which is bullcrap to begin with). When we go to the doctor, the price is the SAME; sure, the insurance companies force the doctors to charge less, but the cost to us consumers is the same… it is only cheaper for the insurance companies.

Two things are blocking Ohio from attracting manufacturing jobs: NAFTA and the high cost of Health Insurance for American Workers. Ohioans NEED health care reform so we can compete fairly in this economy to attract new businesses and grow our existing businesses. John Boehner, please step down so Ohioans can move forward.

I hope that President Obama will try to convince Ohioans to call their representative or senator to pass some sort of health care reform because I really don’t want to give up my insurance company. I really would like to have the freedom to choose my own physician and hospital when I need to go.
