Buckeye Firearms Association endorses Cordray for AG

The Buckeye Firearms Association has endorsed Democratic Attorney General Richard Cordray for re-election over Republican challenger Mike DeWine, the former U.S. senator from Cedarville.

“The Buckeye Firearms Association represents the interests of an important group of people in Ohio, and I am honored to have received their endorsement,” Cordray said in a press release on Wednesday, July 21.

HatTipper - Actually, we know exactly who Cordray is and where he has come from. The difference between he and Mike DeWine is he has years of proof via his actions to show he has changed his mind. Mike DeWine has one year of words as “proof” of his conversion. Chad Baus Vice Chairman Buckeye Firearms Association

Null ,why doesn’t Dewine put his response in the paper instead of telling you (who’s afraid to use his Name) so we all can read it. Why so secret about it.

As for the Brady Bill, so what. It is not reasonable to have no restrictions on the ownership of any and all firearms. This is one of the errors of the mainstream gun rights movement, they go too far. You need a balance of freedom and regulation or things will fly out of control.

Constantly attacking Democrats on gun control issues is ignorant. Look at Governor Strickland, he signed the Castle Bill into law which eliminates special restrictions to the use of lethal force in your own dwelling. Democrats have been committed to insuring the safety of the people, and gun crimes do happen, but they are also not stupid. Pay attention to what people actually do, not the jokes others make about them.

Ummm Richard Cordray defended the Brady Bill in the supreme court and was a supporter of Handgun Control, inc.. These hicks who endorsed him don’t even know that.

Quite the opposite. I have spoken with Mike DeWine personally and have seen him put in writing his firm support of the Second Amendment and our right to bear arms. Believing that Cordray will protect your right to bear arms more than DeWine is pure propaganda.

Mike Dewine has been silent on his stance of the second Amendment which tells me his attitude against the second Amendment Hasn’t changed at all. He’s against all laws that give the people of Ohio the God given right of self protection. I’ve personally e-mailed his office Numerous times to ask him to clarify his stance, as of today I have not received any kind of response from his Office(birds chirping). Cordray will be the first Democrat that I will vote for, because of his stance on the Second Amendment
