John Glenn to hop on Strickland’s campaign bus Friday
Former U.S. Sen. John Glenn on Friday will join Democratic Gov. Ted Strickland’s “Fight for Ohio” campaign bus tour, Strickland’s campaign announced.
Glenn, 89, the first American to orbit the earth, will make appearances in Columbus, Zanesville, St. Clairsville and Steubenville.
He will encourage supporters to “vote early and talk to voters about he stark choices they face in the November election,” a press release said.
The 9 a.m. event in Columbus is at the Linden Cafe, 1393 Cleveland Ave., with Glenn and Yvette McGee Brown, Strickland’s lieutenant governor running mate.
Strickland will join them at the other three events, the press release said.

Passenger trains are the solution for world conflict and world hunger. The U. N. should change it’s initials to the B&O.

When will these die-hard Democrats finally learn that it’s the GOP who creat jobs. Both as a Political Party that believes in the right to work and is against long term welfare programs. In addition, 95% of employers are GOP. Thats right, the rich people who own businesses and run corporations are GOP. GOP want people to work because working people create profits and taxes. Non-working people recieve welfare from Democrats forever and are a drain on our scarce taxes. Democrats increase taxes because they feel the rich need to support the poor. Part of Socialism. So if you want to be know as a deadbeat who sits on couch and draws welfare, then vote Dem’s. If you are known as a hard worker who wants to susceed in life then vote GOP. The choice is your’s.

Strickland is nothing but a lapdog for Obama. In addition to John Glenn joining his campaign, maybe he can find some relic from the Spanish-American war to ride his bus. And if it’s a Strickland bus, it’s probably a short bus - a really, really, short bus. Knucklehead.

When Bob Taft was Governor my property taxes went up every year. Plus lots of new taxes on phone service, sales tax etc. Don’t buy the Kool-Aid when the Republicans tell you they want to lower your taxes. They just privatized work and gave contracts to their fatcat friends.

Last weeek you had porn stars Larry Flint and Bill Clinton together passing out cigars to entice voters, then it was Joe “bite me” Biden and now another clown joins the cast. When is the Rev Jesse and ACORN going to join?

Republicans have proven they can’t govern and regulate business. Republican’s light weight ideology is to solve every issue with deregulation and tax cuts for people that don’t need them. The Ohio electorate is too smart to go back to those terrible failed Repubulican economic policies. Voting for Governor Ted Strickland and Senator elect Fisher.

Strickland had his chance and he FAILED. If you want different results, you have to vote for Kasich.
