Obama coming to Cleveland on Halloween to get out the vote

President Barack Obama will be in Cleveland on Sunday, Oct. 31, Halloween, for a major get-out-the-vote rally for Democrats, the Democratic National Committee announced.

It will be part of a four-city blitz before election day, Nov. 2, with stops also in Philadelphia, Bridgeport, Conn. and Chicago. Vice President Joe Biden will be with Obama in Cleveland.

Obama will be in Philadelphia, Bridgeport and Chicago on Saturday, Oct. 30 and in Cleveland the next day.

Also, First Lady Michelle Obama will headline rallies in Philadelphia and Las Vegas on Monday, Nov. 1, election eve.

“As we see the tide turning in our direction, the president participating in these events and laying out the choice voters face on Nov. 2 will be vital to improving our chances for success on Election Day,” DNC Chairman Tim Kaine said in a press release.

I see that you people are really scared. Obama has done more in this short time than Bush ever has. Oh he did tear down the country in eight. Call it for what it is, its not about economics that you all are afraid, its because A black man fixed what your great white hope tore down.

I see Obama’s big mouth wasting govt. fuel flying around as just that, waste. He is so unpopular he has no clout! He is a crook in my book. Against our basic rights. My family intends to keep our guns, to shun his stinking healthcare bill, to stand against cap and trade, to oppose is Nuke deal with Russia as Obama is a traitor, to demand the lawsuit against Arizona be dropped regarding the bill Gov. Brewer signed. Obama is a loser and one of the most pathetic Americans I have ever seen. He should be in Kenya with Acorn! I support Portman for Senator, Boehner for Congress and Kasich for Governor! No to OBama, Pelosi, Acorn and Soros!

@thelma and roger, check the voting records of Strickland and Kasich. Everything you expect the Republicans to do, they have not done and won’t, because they don’t represent you. Meanwhile the Democrats are making solid, moderate progress. Nothing radical. The Republicans have blocked assistance for small business, consumer protection, and built roads for the outsourcing of jobs. They want to repeal healthcare reform and give your pensions/social security to Wall Street, since they’ve already taken everything else. We can argue all day long. Just take a good look around and check the voting records. The Bush administration presided over TOTAL ECONOMIC COLLAPSE. If you are not okay with that, vote Democrat.

The fuel Obama is wasting while traveling around trying to get votes for Democrats is pathetic! The people now see, their ears have heard that the party in control intends to change our free society into a Government State as in Police State. They will tell us what we are allowed to say, what taxes we have to pay and what little healthcare we will have access to. I say NO to Obama, Pelosi, Soros, Fisher and the other libs! I support John Boehner and Portman. I expect them to have a new view of our tea party purpose! We want major companies to be loyal and keep jobs in America.

@move America Forward, Maybe you can go to the rally; I heard he’s passing out Kool-Aid packs for the little children. Either you blind or ignorant. The stimulus didn’t save anything and there is no such thing a “saved” jobs. Your memory is short also. Congress has been control by the democrats since 2006. They wanted a recession, talked about a recession, causing the recession, adding to the recession, and they only thing they can do is blame Bush. THE BLAME GAME IS OVER, WE WANT SOLUTIONS AND OBAMA DOESN’T HAVE THEM.

You people must really be enjoying your ignorance. You are more upset about historically low taxes, basic healthcare reform, and the stimulus package than you are about the Iraq war debt, war profiteering, and economic collapse following the Bush administration. Grow up.

Seriously? I’m sick of hearing he’s coming to Ohio. He has ruined this country… I wonder how many of the people of Ohio know that not only did he help ruin GM..but after the election, he plans on signing them over to China! He has said that it is in motion but wants to wait until the election is over. That’s so the people in Ohio who “might” vote Democrat will definitely vote. This was on the internet for 1 day..then pulled..wonder why! We need to take this country back..and yes! Close the borders, get rid of illegals, bring our companies back into the USA, no more of this “free” stuff and get the USA back on track!

Show’s how desparate the Dem’s are bringing back , Obama, Larry Flint and Bill Clinton. Having Michelle light their cigars is a nice touch. With ACORN and the new Black Panthers passiing out crack/weed to buy votes, where is old Jennifer Brunner in all this?

Maybe they’ll have Columbus Public School students bused in to be handed democratic sample ballots and told to vote early. I noticed DDN did no report on the fiasco in Cincinnati.

How come Republicans don’t have Bush campaigning for them? They don’t want to remind people why the American electorate vote the Republicans out of office. The Great Republican Recession. Collapse of the financial system because of the lax regulatory ideology of the Bush Neo-Cons, corporation can do no wrong. Two wars and Medicare part D drug program without paying for them. Creating deficits of trillions of dollars. No health care reform with over ten thousand insured losing coverage every week. Unaffordable health insurance premiums and medical care costs escalating way beyond average inflation with no plans to curb them. Not leadership. Attempt at privatizing Social Security in 2005, benifit recipients would have lost 40 % of their monthly payment benifit. Icon corporations bailed out or bankrupt, AIG the largest insurer in the world, GM bankrupt, Countrywide Mortgage and Kasich’s Lehmans Wall Street firm bankrupt. The Obama Stimulus Plan has worked saving millions of jobs of teachers, policemen, firemen, construction workers and the recession over all according to CNBC.

Makes you sick to see how much the tax payers are paying for him to campaign across this Country and Ohio. The Democrats should reimburse the Taxpayers of this Counrty. Ohioans are for John Kasich for Governor Mr. President so go back to D.C. and do your job that you were elected to. Enoug is enough.
